With Americans flocking to polling stations today in the hopes of preventing a wrong turn, we thought it time to offer up the exclusive video interviews we conducted earlier this year with actor Doug Bradley and director Declan O’Brien on the set of then-shooting Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines in Bulgaria.

Known best to horror fans for his iconic portrayal of "Pinhead" in Clive Barker’s Hellraiser, Bradley sat down with us on the set of the sheriff station on the soundstage at UFO Studios in Bulgaria this past May and dished on his character of "Maynard" in O’Brien’s latest entry in the killer hillbilly franchise. O’Brien, who returned to write and direct the fifth in the killer hillbilly franchise (this was the filmmaker’s third addition to the series), chatted with us on the set of the hillbilly’s shack regarding the latest installment, his creative approach to the film’s kills, the casting of Doug Bradley and more.

As reported earlier, newcomer Daniel Zovatto has booked the lead in Glass Eye Pictures' indie Beneath, which genre veteran Larry Fessenden (Wendigo) is directing.

The story follows six kids who find themselves stuck out on a lake in a rowboat being attacked by a ferocious, man-eating fish. Production is currently under way in Connecticut. Look for more on this one really soon!

Actress Jillian Murray posted the following photo with the caption, "5 sec before I die. That's what 9hrs straight of make-up looks like!" Murray wrapped shooting last night.

Sean Astin and Brano Eaton are starring in the pic, which also has Jillian Murray and Ryan Donowho as part of the cast. Mitch Ryan, meanwhile, has stepped into the shoes vacated by Ben Hollingsworth, whose schedule was crunched when he booked a role on The CW’s midseason show "Cult".

The story kicks off when a bachelor party cruise in the Caribbean unexpectedly runs ashore on a medical-research island and a deadly virus is unleashed. The passengers must struggle to find a way to survive before their own demons and the flesh-eating bacteria consumes them all.
Lydia will play a wide-eyed research grad student who is aligned with the film’s antagonist (Astin).

Comic book artist Kaare Andrews is directing from a screenplay penned by Jake Wade Wall (The Hitcher). Original Cabin Fever producer Evan Astrowsky and his Hypotenuse Pictures are producing Patient Zero with Indomina.

The intriguing horror/thriller The Human Race will be screening this Saturday, November 10, at Laemmle's NoHo 7 as part of the Valley Film Festival. Described as a cross between The Hunger Games and Run Lola Run, The Human Race promises a wild ride for viewers.

IFC Films has snagged the rights to Dracula 3D and will release it under the IFC Midnight label in 2013.

Dracula 3D features Asia Argento as Lucy, Thomas Kretschmann as Dracula, Marta Gastini as Mina, and Rutger Hauer as Van Helsing. Miguel Angel Silvestre and Miriam Giovanelli also star.

Synopsis:
TRANSYLVANIA, 1893.

One night in the woods adjacent to Passo Borgo, at the foot of the Carpazi mountains, a couple of young lovers, Tania and Milos, secretly meet. On her way home, Tania is chased and overcome by a "dark shadow" that kills her. In those days Jonathan Harker, a young librarian, arrives at the village hired by Count Dracula, a nobleman from the area. Tania's body mysteriously disappears from the cemetery. In the meantime Harker, before going to Count Dracula's castle, takes the opportunity to visit Lucy Kisslinger, his wife Mina's best friend as well as the daughter of the local mayor.

Upon arriving at the castle, Harker is greeted by Tania, brought back to life from the dead and made vampire, who tries from the very beginning to seduce him; however, they are interrupted by Dracula's entrance welcoming Harker. The following night Tania tries again to bite Harker; she is close to his neck when she is stopped by the count, who gets the upper hand, and it is he himself who bites Harker's neck, however allowing him to live. The following day, weakened but still conscious, Harker attempts to escape, but as soon as he is outside the castle, a large wolf with a white lock assaults and savagely kills him.

Meanwhile, Mina, Harker's wife, arrives in the village and is guest for a few days at the home of her dearest friend Lucy Kisslinger, who will also be bitten and vampirized. The day after, Mina, worried about her husband, goes to Count Dracula's castle.

Their encounter makes her forget the reason for her presence there. She is completely under the count's influence; the count had orchestrated the events leading up to their encounter; in fact Mina looks exactly like his beloved Dolinger, who died some centuries ago. Upon her return to the Kisslinger house, Mina learns of the death of her dear friend Lucy.

The sequence of such strange and dramatic events summons the aid of Van Helsing, vampire expert of the techniques used to eliminate them. Van Helsing, aware of the circumstances, decides to act swiftly and prepares the tools needed to combat vampires. He directs himself to the center of evil, Count Dracula's castle.

Meanwhile Dracula, in the village, kills the inhabitants who rescinded their pact, while Van Helsing, inside the castle, is able to definitively eliminate Tania. Dracula, intent on his desire to reunite with his beloved wife, leads Mina, completely hypnotized, to the castle where Van Helsing is waiting. He has decided to engage in a deadly fight with his evil foe. During the struggle Van Helsing loses his gun with the silver bullet, and Mina, still under Dracula's spell, gathers it and tries to aid Dracula, but she misses the target and involuntarily kills him. The special silver bullet transforms Dracula into ashes; but his spirit lifts the ashes into the air and uniting, they shape into a large bat with a mocking grin.

The exorcism/possession sub-genre of horror has been a very effective way to scare the shit out of audiences ever since young Linda Blair brought a nightmare to life 35 years ago. Now the short film Eviction brings us its own take on the subject of demonic possession.

Eviction premiered recently at Toronto After Dark, and we have the nine-minute short in its entirety below.

The film was written/directed by Justin McConnell (The Eternal, The Collapsed), was co-produced by the late Kevin Hutchinson (who also did the F/X work), and stars Robert Nolan (Familiar, Worm, Sick).

Steven Spielberg's dinosaur classic is set to return to theaters on April 5, 2013.

Written by Michael Crichton and David Koepp based on Crichton's popular novel, Jurassic Park (previously released in 1993) stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum. It tells the tale of a theme park that suffers a major power breakdown, allowing its cloned dinosaur exhibits to run amok during a preview tour.

The good chaps over at Film4 have released the first image from the latest effort from Kill List and Sightseers director Ben Wheatley, A Field in England, and we have this puppy right here on tap! Dig it!

The English Civil War-set film stars Michael Smiley (Kill List), Peter Ferdinando (Tony), Reece Shearsmith (The League of Gentlemen), Julian Barratt (The Mighty Boosh), Richard Glover (Sightseers) and Ryan Pope (Ideal).

Synopsis
In the war-torn English countryside in 1648, a small group of deserters flee the raging battle through an overgrown field. They are captured and forced to help one of their captors in his search to find hidden treasure he believes is buried in the field. The group descends into a chaos of arguments, fighting, and paranoia, and as it becomes clear that the treasure might be something other than gold, they gradually become victim to the terrifying energies trapped inside the field.

Factory announced a multi-property alliance to bring the memorable Warner Bros. television series “MADtv” (seasons two though five) and the animated series “Beetlejuice” to the home entertainment marketplace. The film adaptation of Amped, Daniel H. Wilson's thriller about technologically enhanced humans, has found a new home at Working Title Films, and with the talent involved in the project, it's no wonder they snapped it up once the rights became available due to the Lionsgate/Summit merger.

THR reports that Robopocalypse author Wilson is finalizing a deal to develop his best-selling thriller Amped as a movie at Working Title Films with Alex Proyas (I, Robot) attached to direct.

The project originally had been set up in 2010 at Summit Entertainment, which optioned the novel in advance of its sale to Doubleday. But the company let the rights lapse as it merged with Lionsgate this year.

Set in the near future, Amped imagines a world where nanotech-enhanced people and ordinary humans are at war with one another.

Hot on the heels of the news out of the 2012 American Film Market that XLrator Media had picked up Steven C. Miller's Under the Bed (review here) for distribution comes a brand spanking new poster for the film. Can the trailer be far behind?

Under the Bed, the new horror/thriller from the producers of V/H/S and director Steven C. Miller (The Aggression Scale, the upcoming Silent Night), stars Jonny Weston, the young star of Chasing Mavericks, and Gattlin Griffith (Green Lantern, Changeling). Written by Eric Stolze, the film also stars Peter Holden, Musetta Vander, and Kelcie Stranahan. It tells the story of two brothers who team up to battle the monster living under their bed.

XLrator Media will release the film in theaters next summer.

Rolling Stone caught the first glimpse of Alexa Vega in Machete Kills, the Robert Rodriguez-directed sequel that brings back Danny Trejo as the blade-savvy former Mexican Federale, and all we can say is wow.

Open Road Films has acquired U.S. distribution rights and the film is expected to have a wide release in 2013.

Michelle Rodriguez, Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Charlie Sheen, Lady Gaga, Antonio Banderas, Jessica Alba, Demian Bichir, Alexa Vega, Vanessa Hudgens, Cuba Gooding, Jr., William Sadler, Marko Zaror, and Mel Gibson also star.

Machete Kills finds the titular ex-federale (Danny Trejo) recruited by the U.S. government to stop a terrorist named Mendez the Madman, who happens to be Mexico's leading cartel dealer. Mel Gibson co-stars as Luther Voz, a cunning arms dealer and death merchant who aims to spread war across the planet by launching a missile.
