Lots of Girl-on-Girl Action in Latest Trailer for RazePlaying as part of the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival, taking place April 17th-28th in New York City, is a flick we've been talking about for quite some time now called Raze featuring hot babes fighting for their very lives. To complement the film's premiere, we finally have the official trailer for you.

Raze, directed by Josh C. Waller from a script by Robert Beaucage, stars Rachel Nichols (Star Trek, P2, The Amityville Horror), Zoe Bell (Kill Bill, Grindhouse), Tracie Thoms (Death Proof, Rent), Sherilyn Fenn ("Twin Peaks,"Boxing Helena), Rebecca Marshall (Saw 3D, That’s My Boy), Doug Jones (Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth), Bruce Thomas (Babysitter Wanted, Kyle XY), Tara Macken (The Hunger Games), Adrienne Wilkinson ("Xena", Star Wars :The Force Unleashed), Nicole Steinwedell (The Unit), Bailey Borders, Allene Quincy, Jordan James Smith, Amy Johnston, Victoria Cruz and Brianna Gage.

American Psychos Huey Lewis and Weird Al Yankovic Strike Back

American Psychos Huey Lewis and Weird Al Yankovic Strike BackIt's amazing how much American Psycho still resonates with fans. Even though the film was only about 60% as nutty and gory as the original novel, it's Christian Bale's insanely gleeful performance that really puts this one over-the-top.

Recently website Funny or Die decided to pay a bit of an homage to the film and who better to do the roasting than Huey Lewis and Weird Al Yankovic? Patrick Bateman and author Bret Easton Ellis should be pleased. As for us? We give this video two habit trails stuffed lovingly up someone's anus. Check it out for yourselves and spread it around, man. It's just one of those things that NEED to be seen!

Enough talk. Dig it!

Syfy Calls in an ExitAnd the search for an ongoing reality show with legs and staying power continues for the Syfy Channel. After the abysmal "Ghost Mine" lord knows they could use something with a bit more bite. Speaking of which...

According to Deadline the channel that rubber monsters and bad CGI built is expanding its reality competition slate with "Exit," based on the Nippon Television Network’s Japanese series "Dero!"

The six-episode series hosted by Curt Doussett is set to premiere on Tuesday, June 4th, at 10 PM. In each episode four teams of two contestants will battle to escape a series of four mind-bending and seemingly diabolical rooms, each more challenging than the last. The winning team must beat the clock while solving rapid-fire brain games and navigating a bevy of terrifyingly entertaining puzzles in order to be the only team to truly exit and win the $10,000 prize.

Will we deserve a prize just for sitting through this? I guess we'll find out in June.

Get a Sneak Peek of the Upcoming Teaser Trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching FireWhat's this? A teaser of an upcoming teaser trailer? It must be time for a look at the hotly anticipated The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. After the failure of so many recent films to fill that Twilight tweener void, of course Lionsgate wants to remind everyone about it!

From the Press Release:
MTV has announced that the “2013 MTV Movie Awards,” hosted by rising superstar Rebel Wilson, will exclusively debut the never-before-seen official teaser trailer for the second installment of Lionsgate’s Hunger Games film franchise, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, LIVE on Sunday, April 14, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. To celebrate the premiere, the film’s co-star Liam Hemsworth will officially give the world its first glimpse of the film. The teaser trailer will then be available online at TheHungerGamesExplorer.com, in partnership with Internet Explorer, after it airs on television.

The “2013 MTV Movie Awards” will air across MTV’s global network of more than 60 channels, reaching more than a half-billion households around the world. The debut marks the first footage released of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire ahead of its November theatrical release date.

Synopsis:
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow (Donald Sutherland) prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is directed by Francis Lawrence and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the second in a trilogy that has over 50 million copies in print in the U.S. alone. Lionsgate will release The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on November 22, 2013.

The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine, is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White (Moore) and her daughter, Carrie (Moretz). Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin (Judy Greer) tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson (Portia Doubleday, Youth in Revolt), but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell (Gabriella Wilde, The Three Musketeers), regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross (newcomer Ansel Elgort), to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc. Brian De Palma’s 1976 film version of CARRIE earned Oscar nominations for stars Sissy Spacek and Piper Laurie.

New Image from Amazon's Zombieland Needs Oral AdhesiveThe main thing that sucks about being an elderly zombie? Unless you have your teeth, you're gonna have to gum your human flesh food. If you're lucky enough to have croaked with your dentures in, as you'll see in this new still from "Zombieland," the bond is anything but permanent!

From the Press Release
Amazon Studios, the original movie and series production arm of Amazon.com, announced it will add cult classic "Zombieland" to the line-up of pilots already in production for Prime Instant Video. "Zombieland," which is the seventh comedy pilot added to Amazon’s pilot line-up, will be made available (along with the other six comedy pilots and six children’s pilots) for free on Amazon Instant Video and LOVEFiLM UK. Customers are invited to view the pilots and then review them on the site; customer feedback will help determine which of the 13 pilots Amazon Studios will make into full-season productions, to air on Prime Instant Video.

New Image from Amazon's Zombieland Needs Oral Adhesive

“'Zombieland' is a fan favorite, and we can’t wait to see where this storyline goes in a serialized format,” said Roy Price, Director of Amazon Studios. “We’ve been announcing a lot of exciting exclusive content for Prime Instant Video, like 'Downton Abbey,''Under the Dome,' and 'Justified'; and we think adding original shows to that lineup is going to make Prime even more enticing for customers.”

"Zombieland" is based on the hit Columbia Pictures movie of the same name and finds four survivors outwitting zombies and searching for a place to call home. The "Zombieland" pilot comes from the feature film’s original creative team, writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (G.I. Joe: Retaliation, "The Joe Schmo Show"), and producer Gavin Polone ("Gilmore Girls,""Curb Your Enthusiasm"). Eli Craig (Tucker and Dale vs. Evil) is directing the pilot.

The part of Tallahassee will be played by Kirk Ward (The Island), Maiara Walsh ("Desperate Housewives,""Switched at Birth") is cast as Wichita, Tyler Ross (Milkshake) will play Columbus, and Izabela Vidovic has the role of Little Rock.

“'Zombieland' will strive to break the rules—action, adventure, thrills, chills and laughs, all packed into a half-hour format,” said creator Paul Wernick. “This is not your average show, but Amazon is not your average network.”

Bite-Sized Walking Dead Season 4 News: New Regulars! Andrea Returning? There's nothing too earth-shattering to report here, but since you guys like to be kept abreast (and a leg and an arm) of just about everything that goes on in the world of "The Walking Dead," there have been a couple of smallish developments pertaining to Season 4.

TVLine is reporting that both Chad L. Coleman (Tyreese) and Sonequa Martin-Gree (Sasha) have been elevated to season regulars for the show's fourth small screen go-around. Joining them as a regular will also be Emily Kinney (Hershel’s youngest daughter, Beth), who joined the show during Season 2 but didn't kill a single zombie until the last episode of Season 3. Honestly, we're pretty amazed she's lasted this long.

That's not all though... the site also caught up with creator Robert Kirkman, who hinted that we may not have seen the last of Andrea (Laurie Holden) as she may show up in some flashback moments with Michonne (Danai Gurira). According to Kirkman there's “definitely some room to [further explore] the relationship between Michonne and Andrea” moving forward, adding, “It’s always a possibility.

Then read on for details of how you can bring Rogen and his co-stars Craig Robinson and Danny McBride to your college for a free advance screening of the film.

I guess we have Paranormal Activity to thank for the "Demand It" campaigns that so many studios are now running for their films. In any event, Sony has joined the fray with the following video that explains what you need to do.

Written and directed by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen and starring Rogen, Jay Baruchel, James Franco, Craig Robinson, Danny McBride and Jonah Hill as themselves, This Is the End finds six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Once they discover that they are experiencing the Apocalypse, they must come to terms with why they were left behind. Eventually they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

Look for the flick in theatres this summer.

Child's Play - A Look Back at Long Lost Kid Friendly Horror TV Shows!

Child's Play - A Look Back at Long Lost Kid Friendly Horror TV Shows!A lot of people ask me, "Creepy, how did you first come to love horror movies so much?" Well, growing up in the Seventies, there was plenty to go around. There were TV classics like Gargoyles, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, and any number of TV Movies of the Week, and there was also...

There was also a ton of weird and quirky bits of monster-themed kids programming. Usually "The Munsters" and "The Land of the Lost" get all the love, and rightly so. They're absolute classics. That being said, we're gonna talk about some other things here. Things you may not have known even existed. For instance, were you aware that way before Venkmen, Spengler, Stantz and Zeddmore there was a whole other set of Ghostbusters? How about a different Monster Squad? Got your attention? Good. Sit back, relax, and get ready to soak up some lunacy as we revisit...

Child's Play - A Look Back at Long Lost Kid Friendly Horror TV Shows!

Now mind you, you don't have to be a kid to enjoy the nuttiness on this list as the following programs are so gloriously whacked-out they still stand the test of time. Especially if you're in the... shall we say... "right frame of mind!" If you're an adult, having "party favors" on hand will surely help.

First on my list of the absolutely strange and obscure is a Japanese import that I wasn't lucky enough to enjoy as a kid...

"The Space Giants" (1967)
It was the Foywonder who brought this giant-fighting gem into my life, and I've never been able to look back. This show out Ultras "Ultraman" and is an absolute MUST for fans of Godzilla and monster movies. Our main hero is a fifty-foot tall robot named Goldar who looks as if he got lost on the way to a Spinal Tap concert. Goldar works with his wife Silvar and their son Gam. So how does he know when the Earth is in jeopardy? A news reporter named Ito Mura and his son Miko always seem to be on the front lines of an alien attack, and when there's trouble, Miko blows a magic whistle three times and Goldar and company fly to the planet's aide by transforming into rockets and speeding off to the rescue. There's also some form of strange alternate reality where Goldar lives that's run by a weird looking wizard named Methusan. Sound strange? You have no friggin' clue the insanity that waits for you should you track this hard-to-find gem down. Known in Japan as "Ambassador Magma,""The Space Giants" enjoyed a hell of a run in the Far East, accumulating more than 50 episodes.

Child's Play - A Look Back at Long Lost Kid Friendly Horror TV Shows!

Then came this golden oldie...

"The Ghost Busters" (1967)
The powers that be can keep Ghostbusters 3! Who needs it when you have this sliver of pop culture peculiarity lurking about just waiting to be discovered? The show starred Forrest Tucker, Larry Storch, and legendary Bob Burns in full gorilla suit as two average joes (and their simian friend) who hunt spooks. In a nutshell... our gang the Ghost Busters travel around the world looking for ghosts and anything else that has a habit of going bump in the night. Once they have a close encounter of the paranormal kind, they dispel said entities with a weird camera-looking gadget. With the exception of scenes filmed outside in their ghost busters mobile, the show is comprised mainly of flimsy sets with incredibly questionable production values, but that doesn't matter as this freaky frolic is oozing charm. Filmation would later spin this off as a cartoon in 1986, the same year that the other Ghostbusters cartoon was released. As a result we had "The Real Ghostbusters." Guess which one lasted longer?

Child's Play - A Look Back at Long Lost Kid Friendly Horror TV Shows!

Since we brought up animation, let's look at these two classics...

"The Groovie Goolies" (1970)
Originally released as "Sabrina and the Groovie Goolies," this cartoon featured your favorite monsters such as Dracula, the Frankenstein Monster, and the Wolf Man yucking it up "Laugh-In" style. If you don't know what that means, thanks for making feel ancient and go get some comedic culture while the rest of us old-timers have some fun. Friggin' whippersnappers. Back to business... Sabrina was the head of a band of monsters (yes, band as in the musical variety) who would play ridiculous songs and scare people for fun. Fun being the operative and incredibly descriptive word of this experience. Dig it!

Child's Play - A Look Back at Long Lost Kid Friendly Horror TV Shows!

"Frankenstein, Jr. and the Impossibles" (1966)
If you're lucky, you can catch an episode or two of this wondrous superhero-driven take on the assembled man subgenre on Boomerang or the Cartoon Network. They play it every now and again, and my advice? Set your DVR, fashion an incredibly large bowl of the sweetest sugar-based cereal you can find (preferably Count Chocula to keep you in the spirit of things), and go to town! In this vintage toon Frankenstein Jr. is actually a robot constructed by a boy-genius to fight crime. The Impossibles portion of the show featured four undercover superheroes who pose as a rock band as a means to fight crime. It's an odd pairing for sure, but in the end it really works.

Child's Play - A Look Back at Long Lost Kid Friendly Horror TV Shows!

Moving back into the live action realm, who could possibly forget...

"The Far Out Space Nuts" (1970)
I'll tell you who could forget them. YOU. If they were as revered as they deserve to be, I wouldn't have to be writing this thing to make you aware of it. Now then... the show capitalized on the whole "Gilligan's Island" vibe, even going so far as to bring in Gilligan himself, Bob Denver, as Junior to accidentally pilot a spaceship with his "Skipper-like" buddy Barney (played by Chuck McCann) that eventually gets stranded on far-away worlds that are home to wacky aliens and their eventual extraterrestrial sidekick Honk, who was played by Patty Maloney. The comedy here is pretty much as goofy as it comes, but it doesn't matter. This shit still rules AND it has a badass theme song. FTW.

Child's Play - A Look Back at Long Lost Kid Friendly Horror TV Shows!

Now that we've blasted off into space, let's land again... in a museum. Why a museum? Because that's the home of the...

"Monster Squad" (1970)
Long before we found out that the Wolf Man had nards or the scary German guy was offering anybody pie, the original Monster Squad was comprised of museum caretaker Walter (Fred Grandy), who stored a handy crime computer inside of an Egyptian sarcophagus that when activated reanimates wax figures of the Frankenstein Monster, The Wolf Man, and Dracula to speed off into the night via their black Monster Squad van to nab themselves some bad guys. Yep, this one is indeed a strange affair, but the monsters - with the exception of Frankenstein - all play it relatively straight, and Dracula (played by Henry Polic II) can even be considered downright scary... at least appearance-wise because he's rocking some serious fangs. I don't know about you cats, but I'd rather trust these creatures of the night with my well-being than any politician who supposedly has the country's best interests at heart.

Child's Play - A Look Back at Long Lost Kid Friendly Horror TV Shows!

And finally it all leads to this...

"The Hilarious House of Frightenstein" (1971)
This Canadian import is the creme de la creme of bizarro children's programming. A friendly acid trip of obscurity which features an opening and closing by the great Vincent Price, who also pops up in several episodes along the way. The man behind all of this madness is one-man comic genius Billy Van, who plays several characters in the show including Count Frightenstein, The Librarian, a DJ named The Wolfman (no relation to Jack), Grizelda - the Ghastly Gourmet, and tons more! The show follows Count Frightenstein - the thirteenth son of Count Dracula who was exiled to Castle Frightenstein in Frankenstone, Canada for failing to revive Brucie J. Monster, a Frankenstein-like monster. Assisted by Igor (an unforgettable Fishka Rais), an overweight incompetent, and a three-foot-tall mini-Count (Guy Big), each episode followed the Count’s efforts to revive Brucie and featured comedy sketches, wacky music, dancing, a flying hippie dressed like Superman, a constantly under attack gorilla, and more psycho fever-dream stuff than you can handle in large doses. Simply put, it RULES. The show ran a whopping 131 episodes, several of which are available on DVD in Canada. Thank god for importing!

Child's Play - A Look Back at Long Lost Kid Friendly Horror TV Shows!

There you have it, kids. A good portion of how and why I grew up loving the macabre and loony side of life. There were dozens of other shows out there that even I'm not aware of! Maybe you can share what frights raised you right in the comments section below!

If you haven't had the chance to see it yet, come back here once you're all caught up, and in the meantime you can check out our COMPLETELY SPOILER-FREE video interviews from SXSW below.

WrestleMania! Roddy Piper, Matt Hardy, Kurt Angle, Shane Douglas and Hacksaw Jim Duggan Star in Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies

WrestleMania! Roddy Piper, Matt Hardy, Kurt Angle, Shane Douglas and Hacksaw Jim Duggan Star in Pro Wrestlers vs. ZombiesThe following trailer is real. It is not a leftover April Fool’s joke. There really is a movie titled Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies - and it looks gloriously bug nuts.

With WrestleMania happening this weekend, it’s no wonder that filmmaker Cody Knotts would choose now to release the crazy trailer for his low budget zombie epic Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies. The movie is about exactly what the title implies. I have no problem saying nothing you will see at WrestleMania this weekend, or have seen at any past WrestleMania, will blow your mind like the sight of “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan beating zombies to death with his trusty 2x4 or Kurt Angle anklelocking a zombie until its foot pops off.

“Rowdy” Roddy Piper is also once again out of bubble gum so he, too, shows up to kick some zombie ass. Also grappling with the undead are the likes of Matt Hardy, “The Franchise” Shane Douglas, and, since every cast member can’t be an actual pro wrestler, Penthouse Pet Taya Parker.

Writer-director Cody Knotts has described his film online as follows:

“The film is about big, powerful men and hot babes killing zombies with good old American violence. There are no fancy karate moves, just traditional kicking and slamming heads on tables, which is why we call it 'old violence'.”

According to IMDB, "Roddy Piper put one of the stuntmen in the hospital with repeated blows to the head with a pot. The pot was given to the stuntman as a gift."

If the trailer for Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombes, which is mostly just two minutes of wrestler vs. zombie action set to the tune of Accept’s “Fast as a Shark,” is a sign of things to come, the only way this could be any crazier would be if it were a Mad Max knock-off with pro wrestlers running around the post-apocalypse beating each other to death with steel chairs. Or will that be the sequel?

Coming at us from Lionsgate and director Paul Middleditch is Rapture-Palooza starring Craig Robinson, Anna Kendrick, John Francis Daley, and Thomas Lennon.

The film is best described as Zombieland meets The Big Lebowski, and that alone has us all over this bad boy. In the flick a couple battle their way through a religious apocalypse on a mission to defeat the Antichrist. Yep, we are so there. Look for Rapture-Palooza in theatres on June 7th.

Synopsis
A young Seattle couple, Lindsey and Ben House (Kendrick and Daley), get left behind when a billion others are raptured to Heaven. In between the bloody rain showers and plagues of talking locusts which soon become customary, the duo have to ward off the Antichrist (Robinson), who hopes to marry Lindsey.
