We're all pretty damned excited for Bobcat Goldthwait's new Bigfoot film, Willow Creek (please let the movie be as good as the poster), and recently the comedian turned director sat down with The Bigfoot Report to shed some light on the project!

As reported earlier, Goldthwait has shot and completed his next movie entitled Willow Creek, and it is a cinéma vérité-style flick about Bigfoot. What's interesting is that the project isn’t a schlocky horror picture. Goldthwait has apparently mixed satire with some suspense, and overall his film is apparently rather driven by “exploring the idea of bearing witness.” The flick is home to various characters who believe they’ve seen the elusive Sasquatch. They each give differing accounts and at times even come to blows. Goldthwait is said to use this kind of tension to get in some observations on faith and religion.

Now we know that when it comes to the entertainment industry, things can and do move quickly when possible, but will you be able to watch the pilot episode of Amazon Studios'"Zombieland" in just a couple of days?

According to AICN Amazon is posting its comedy pilot "Zombieland" (and maybe the six other comedies) this Thursday, where it will remain -- free of charge -- for a month.

“Zombieland” is based on the hit Columbia Pictures movie of the same name and finds four survivors outwitting zombies and searching for a place to call home. The Zombieland pilot comes from the feature film’s original creative team, writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (G.I. Joe: Retaliation,"The Joe Schmo Show"), and producer Gavin Polone (“Gilmore Girls,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm”). Eli Craig (Tucker and Dale vs. Evil) directed the pilot.

Good news, kids! The official trailer for Neil Jordan's Byzantium (review here) has finally arrived. Look for it to debut on June 28th in limited theatres and on VOD. Enough talk! Dig it!

Snow White and the Huntsman is notorious for a couple of reasons... Yes, Kristen Stewart engaged in the Lay Heard Round the World when she dallied with married director Rupert Sanders, but more importantly it's the flick in which K-Stew showcased more than one look on her face.

Now news is coming out of CinemaCon in Vegas that Universal Studios is looking to give the flick a sequel. No word yet on who will be returning to continue the torrid tale or who will be screwing whom for that matter. Stay tuned.

"How many follow-ups to a successful follow-up are actually fun?" That's the question on Robert Downey, Jr.'s mind when it comes to deciding whether or not he'd be into suiting up for Iron Man once again after the next film.

There really is such a thing as too much of a good thing, and Downey knows this better than anybody. Still, color us surprised to hear about what he wants to do in the near future. THR reports that Downey is really into directing a Halloween-type horror film. He'll also star in the movie as "a Village Voice reporter on the run."

Yep, we'd watch that. Let's hope for the genre's sake he actually decides to pursue said project. Stay tuned.

"Defiance" is NBC Universal’s biggest day-and-date launch ever, premiering in over 55 countries on April 15th and 16th including the UK, Canada, Germany, and France.

Beginning next Monday, April 22, "Defiance" will assume its regular 9PM time period, followed on Monday, April 29, by the season return of "Warehouse 13" at 10PM, comprising Syfy’s Powerful Mondays programming bloc.

Though he isn't concerned with overseeing any more simian revolutions, Rise of the Planet of the Apes director Rupert Wyatt is looking to spin another yarn about murder, intrigue, and well... a horror movie director.

According to THR, Chernin Entertainment and Rupert Wyatt are pairing again for Night Film, which is based on the upcoming noir thriller by Marisha Pessl, the author behind the bestselling debut Special Topics in Calamity Physics.

Wyatt (pictured), who helmed the Chernin-produced Rise of the Planet of the Apes, is attached to direct. Chernin is producing.

Night Film tells the story of an investigative journalist named Scott McGrath, who begins looking into the death of a beautiful young woman that was originally deemed a suicide. The woman turns out to be the daughter of a reclusive, cult horror film director named Stanislas Cordova, and McGrath finds himself on a journey of revenge and truth.

The book is due out from Random House in August. A writer is being sought to adapt. More soon!
