Synopsis
Andrew (Brian Sutherland) wins a radio contest to spend one night alone in a haunted theater on the 80th anniversary of the bloody murder/suicide that occurred within its walls. His prize: $50,000. His task: Spend 12 hours alone inside. The catch: The theater has been reportedly haunted ever since the tragedy 80 years ago and has been plagued by a series of mysterious deaths in the years since. A devout disbeliever in the supernatural, Andrew has no qualms about spending the night there. But his wife, Mira (Lisa Coronado), who has been haunted by psychic premonitions about the place, feels differently. As Andrew is locked inside the theater for the night, the ghosts and secrets of its past begin to reveal themselves to him. Will he make it through the night to collect his prize? And will he get out before the murderous ghosts take hold of him forever?

Interesting news is coming in today from Legendary Pictures, which for many years has partnered with Warner Bros. on huge genre titles like Crimson Peak, Godzilla, Seventh Son, Pacific Rim, Jonah Hex, Clash of the Titans, Wrath of the Titans, 300, and of course our very favorite - Trick ‘r Treat.

The other day Legendary announced that it wanted to pursue partnering with other studios, and Deadline has come up with an interesting breakdown of sorts. According to the site Legendary Entertainment’s Thomas Tull continues kicking tires all over Hollywood right now. He’s planned a meeting for later this week with the Lionsgate team, including chief Jon Feltheimer and Summit-turned-Lionsgate film co-chairman Rob Friedman, who’d like to mitigate their feature film risks which worry Wall Street.

“It’s an interesting choice and a new entry,” a source tells the site. “He [Tull] really respects Rob and Felt.”

Tull has met twice with NBCUniversal chief and Comcast #2 Steve Burke over at NBCU, and with Lionsgate now added to the mix, that makes five studios who are in this. Sony is still in the running “because he [Tull] loves their business and loves the Sony people and really likes Michael Lynton.” So, too, Fox because Tull “loves” Jim Gianopulos. “But if Jeff Robinov goes there, it may not happen,” a source stated.

As for Warner Bros, Tull for weeks now has begun every meeting with a studio by pledging that he’s “not talking to Warner Bros and definitely intending to move on.” But the studios tell the site they’re convinced that’s just a negotiating ploy and if the right deal was offered he’d stay…

What does this all mean? Not a damned thing! Tull can love whomever he wants until a deal is on the table, and something tells us Warner is not gonna just let him go. We shall see.

Future US and Skybound, Robert Kirkman's imprint at Image Comics, are partnering once again at San Diego Comic-Con with a host of experiential activities around The Walking Dead universe.

The partnership between Skybound and Future US, a leading digital media and content marketing group, celebrates a decade of Robert Kirkman's groundbreaking Eisner Award-winning comic book series and best-selling graphic novels. This year’s campaign applauds the wild popularity and longevity of The Walking Dead comic series.

The Future US booth will kick off July 17th at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2013 with the debut of the Veloster Zombie Survival Machine, a custom 2013 Hyundai Veloster built by renowned car fabrication shop Galpin Auto Sports.

Also, WalkingDeadChopShop.com, a unique configurator app, will allow fans to design their own custom digital zombie survival machines on the show floor. The submitted designs will be entered into a contest, and the winning design will be constructed and unveiled at New York Comic Con in October 2013.

"I had so much fun designing last year's Zombie Survival Machine that I wanted to invite fans of The Walking Dead to share that experience and see their vision come to life at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con," said Kirkman. "It's hard to believe the growth and expansion The Walking Dead has undergone since I began writing the comic ten years ago. This entire event is a thank you to fans of The Walking Dead universe."

In addition, the booth will feature Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead video game, zombie costume contests, celebrity appearances, a zombie makeup station, and social media contests.

“It has been amazing to see the reception for Robert Kirkman’s vision brought to life at last year’s Comic-Con, and we're very excited to expand on that experience for 2013,” said Rachelle Considine, president, Future US. “With exclusive videos, contests, and surprises, The Walking Dead experience will live far beyond Comic-Con.”

The hilarious horror comedy This Is the End is gearing up for its UK debut this weekend (you Brits are gonna LOVE it) ,and Screen Daily caught up with the man behind the hijinx, Evan Goldberg, to ask about a potential next installment.

“If you ask me, I’d say there’s a good chance of sequel,” said Goldberg, who co-directed the comedy with Rogen. “If you ask Seth, he’d say no. So, we’ll see. We lucked out that [the cast] were all available [at the time]. I honestly don’t know if we could get the guys together [again]. We actually talked about doing a sequel where it starts at the premiere of This Is the End,” Goldberg revealed. “Seth’s a cokehead in this version, Michael Cera is a calm dude with a boyfriend, Rihanna and The Backstreet Boys are back. We have a lot of ideas: a heaven and hell, for example, and a garden of Eden version where Danny [McBride] is Adam.”

Oh please... let this happen!

Empire Online caught up with Moranis, who had this to say about the sequel...

“I haven’t talked to Danny (Aykroyd) about it,” he tells the UK magazine. “Somebody he’s associated with called me, and I said, ‘I wouldn’t not do it, but it’s got to be good.’ You know, I’m not interested in doing anything I’ve already done, and I thought the second one was a disappointment. But I guess I’m interested in where that guy is now. I sort of see him as being Bernie Madoff’s cellmate in jail. Both of them being so orderly that they race to get up and make their beds.”

Ivan Reitman will direct the movie if it happens. Men in Black 3 scribe Etan Cohen had been tapped to rewrite Ghostbusters 3 for the studio. You know all the rest.

I also filled a windowless room with terrifying spiders and locked…er…hired veteran Deadpool writer Daniel Way and provided him with really, just a stupid amount of spiders a “package” to convince him to pen a script that would befit Marvel's most lovable character's debut as a leading man. DEADPOOL is the rare game that plays with you while you play with it, delivering a $#!t ton (it's just a better system of measurement, people – I can't stress that enough) of fourth-wall-eviscerating humour voiced brilliantly by yours truly, doing a bang-up imitation of what it would be like if a young up-and-comer I discovered named Nolan North were trying to sound like me (Got that?...).
