Possible Dexter Spinoff on HoldWith Showtime's "Dexter" currently winding down through its final season, talk of a spinoff series has already begun. That being said... such talk is also painfully premature. Read on for the latest.

At the end of Showtime's panel at the Television Critics Association's Summer 2013 Press Tour, Showtime Entertainment President David Nevins was asked about the proposed “Dexter” spinoff, and per Crave, he responded with, “We announced a deal with Scott Buck today. Draw your own conclusions, [but] there’s nothing actively happening,” adding he’s made no deals with any “Dexter” cast members for another series.

He said further, “Of course all options will be explored... We’re really not dealing with it at all until we’re through this season and maybe for a while thereafter.

For more info be sure to visit the official "Dexter" page on Showtime, "like""Dexter" on Facebook, follow "Dexter" on Twitter, and stop by the "Dexter" Tumblr page, which serves as the hub for fan-created content.

TIFF 2013 Trailer Blow-Out: Borgman, Cannibal, R100, The Strange Colour of Your Body's Tears, and More!On tap right now we have a bunch of new trailers for some choice flicks playing at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival including Borgman, Cannibal, R100, The Strange Colour of Your Body's Tears, and Why Don’t You Play in Hell? (Jigoku de Naze Warui).

Borgman
Alex van Warmerdam, The Netherlands/Belgium/Denmark North American Premiere
Borgman is the central character in Alex van Warmerdam’s dark, malevolent fable. Is he a dream or a demon, a twisted allegory or an all-too-real embodiment of our fears? Borgman is a sinister arrival in the sealed-off streets of modern suburbia. His presence unleashes a crowing gallery of distortion around the careful façade constructed by an arrogant, comfortable couple, their three children and nanny. Starring Jan Bijoet, Jeroen Perceval and Hadewych Minis.

Cannibal
Manuel Martín Cuenca
Carlos is the most prestigious tailor in Granada, but he’s also a murderer in the shadows. He feels no remorse, no guilt, until Nina appears in his life. She will make him realize the true nature of his acts and, for the first time, love awakens. Carlos is evil incarnate, unaware of itself. Nina is pure innocence. And Cannibal is a demon’s love story.

R100
Hitoshi Matsumoto, Japan World Premiere
An ordinary man with an ordinary life joins a mysterious club. The membership lasts for one year only and there is one rule: no cancellation under any circumstance. The man enters into an entirely new and exciting world which he has never before experienced.

The Strange Colour of Your Body’s Tears
Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani, Belgium/France/Luxembourg North American Premiere
A woman vanishes. Her husband inquires into the strange circumstances of her disappearance. Did she leave him? Is she dead? As he continues his search, he plunges into a world of nightmare and violence… Starring Klaus Tange, Jean-Michel Vovk, Sylvia Camarda, Sam Louwyck and Anna D’Annunzio.

Why Don’t You Play in Hell? (Jigoku de Naze Warui)
Sion Sono, Japan North American Premiere
Two men, Muto and Ikegami, hate each other. Muto desperately wants to help his daughter Mitsuko star in a movie. Meanwhile, Ikegami falls in love with Mitsuko, knowing that she’s the daughter of his foe. Hirata, a filmmaker, and Koji, a young movie-lover, get dragged into this complicated situation that heads into an unexpected direction.

More Details on the Supernatural Spinoff SeriesAs we reported earlier this month during San Diego Comic-Con, "Supernatural" has a spinoff series in the works, and we now have a few more details to share.

Building on the first word we got that the show will be "more urban than back roads" in nature and feature "a whole new cast of characters," TVLine has learned that Chicago will be the setting for the potential new series, and all is not peaceful there. The project will explore the clashing hunter and monster cultures in the Windy City.

Vanessa Hudgens Thrown into the Kitchen SinkThe first casting news is here for Sony's upcoming horror flick The Kitchen Sink as Vanessa Hudgens is in talks for active duty in the film. Read on for your first details right here.

According to The Wrap, if signed, Hudgens will join the recently added Denis Leary, who was confirmed by an insider familiar with the project.

Robbie Pickering (Natural Selection) is directing from a 2010 Black List script by Oren Uziel, whom Sony recently hired to write Men in Black 4 and rewrite 22 Jump Street.

The Kitchen Sink, in the vein of Zombieland, follows a group of teens who form an unlikely alliance with vampires and zombies in order to take on an alien army.

Hudgens is said to play one of the popular teens. Leary, meanwhile, is a wealthy, smart - if not "friendly" - resident of the small town which gets invaded by extraterrestrials.

About Cronos
Guillermo del Toro made an auspicious and audacious feature debut with Cronos, a highly unorthodox tale about the seductiveness of the idea of immortality. Kindly antiques dealer Jesús Gris (Federico Luppi) happens upon an ancient golden device in the shape of a scarab and soon finds himself the possessor and victim of its sinister, addictive powers as well as the target of a mysterious American named Angel (a delightfully crude and deranged Ron Perlman). Featuring marvelous special makeup effects and the haunting imagery for which del Toro has become world-renowned, Cronos is a dark, visually rich, and emotionally captivating fantasy.
Artist: Mike Mignola
Edition Size: 185
Size: 18 x 24"
Price: $45

Cronos BLU-ray

About The Devil's Backbone
One of the most personal films by Guillermo del Toro, The Devil's Backbone is also among his most frightening and emotionally layered. Set during the final week of the Spanish Civil War, it tells the tale of a twelve-year-old boy who, after his freedom-fighting father is killed, is sent to a haunted rural orphanage full of terrible secrets. Del Toro expertly combines Gothic ghost story, murder mystery, and historical melodrama in a stylish mélange that, like his later Pan's Labyrinth, reminds us the scariest monsters are often the human ones.
Artist: Guy Davis
Edition Size: 210
Size: 18 x 24"
Price: $45
