Syfy has released a new promo touting its supercharged supernatural Monday lineup of "Lost Girl,""Being Human," and "Bitten," which kicks off on January 13th. Viewers will have their choice of "vampires, werewolves, and ghosts… and everything else that’s out there!"

"Lost Girl" follows supernatural seductress Bo (Anna Silk), a Succubus who feeds on the sexual energy (sometimes called "chi") of humans. "Lost Girl" Season 4 begins on January 13th at 8|7c.

"Being Human" Season 4 picks up three months after last season's finale with the roommates coping with Josh (Sam Huntington), who is permanently a wolf, although the full moon has a very different effect on him now, which drives Nora (Kristen Hager) to extremes in order to get her husband back. Visitors from Aidan's (Sam Witwer) haunted past, including an elusive character bearing an uncanny likeness to his long lost wife, Suzanna (Katharine Isabelle), as well as his maker, Bishop (Mark Pellegrino), collide with the present; and Aidan is forced to make impossible decisions affecting those closest to him. A couple more "Corbin Files" have arrived for Fox's "Sleepy Hollow," entitled "Blood Moon" and "Adams Antiquities." If we can't see Clancy Brown each week on the show, at least we can hear his voice once in a while on these tapes!

First up, in "Blood Moon" we discover that over 100 witches were put to death in Sleepy Hollow between 1712 and 1816. Next, in "Adams Antiquities" we're introduced to Jesse Adams at Adams Antiquities, who is working to track down other forces of evil after Satanic instruments are uncovered.

"Sleepy Hollow" returns on Monday, January 13, 2014, with Episode 1.11, leading up to a special two-hour season finale event on January 20. "Sleepy Hollow" stars Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie, and Orlando Jones.

Showtime has released Chapter 2 of its Production Blog for the upcoming "Penny Dreadful," and this time we have creator/executive producer John Logan discussing the series' ties to horror literature like Dracula, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, Frankenstein, and The Picture of Dorian Gray.

One of the most entertaining bad movies of the 1970's, Yeti, Giant of the 20th Century is an Italian production shot in Canada and then badly dubbed into English that was designed to piggyback off the success of the previous year's King Kong remake.

Watching Yeti, Giant of the 20th Century is like watching King Kong after licking too many toads. The monster is an actor with an extremely expressive face attired in a fur suit with a head of puffy hair that would make Tina Turner proud.

Thawed out from several millennia of sleep, the Abominable Snowman bonds with a boy, develops the hots for a girl, becomes all the rage in Canada, and earns the wrath of the energy cartels after his likeness becomes a financial boondoggle for a jolly oil baron. While the "8th Wonder of the World" on film has climbed up the Empire State Building, the World Trade Center, and even Tokyo Tower, when the "Giant of the 20th Century" goes berserk, he climbs down the tallest hotel in all of Toronto.

I consider it something of a travesty that Yeti, Giant of the 20th Century has been allowed to fall into the crevices of cinematic obscurity. You listening, Shout Factory? This one has everything: an old scientist who dresses like "Where's Waldo?", a billionaire who looks like Norm from "Cheers" dressed like old school Doctor Who, a mute kid, Lassie, highly-paid corporate assassins that seem more like small-time crooks from a Seventies cop show, giant phone booth mid-air monster defrosting, fishbone hair brushing, hotel rooftop photo ops, elevator yo-yo'ing, death by toe jam, fake monster foot fu, out of scale models, terrible green screen effects, even worse dubbing, some of the greatest movie monster facial expressions of all time, and more Yeti crotch to fill the screen than you ever thought one movie could deliver.

It also has that special something that elevates any b-movie to the upper echelon of schlock: an unforgettable theme song.

How does one even describe the Yeti, Giant of the 20th Century theme? Part of the difficulty stems from not even being entirely sure what the lyrics are much of the time. The music itself - what style of music is that? Hasidic disco? Performed by a band created specifically for the film appropriately named The Yetians; the only thing about this group I am certain of is English cannot possibly be their first language.

You can thank (or blame) me for the music video accompanying this indescribable song. I set out to string a series of scenes together to try to tell the story of the movie in order; and without even trying, somehow, some of the movie moments I chose strangely sync up with the song, even if only ironically.

Can "The Following" rebound from its disappointingly mediocre first season? A time-jumping reset is coming our way, and here's a batch of new stills from the Season 2 special preview, Episode 2.01, "Resurrection," to give us an idea of what's ahead.

"The Following" Season 2:

The name "Godkiller" should ring a bell as we've been talking about the transmedia series of graphic novels, illustrated films, and novels for about five years, and now it's entering yet another phase as an indie weekly comic.

Synopsis:
Quantum physics. Weaponized orgasms. Fallen gods... and a boy on a quest for a heart to save his dying sister.

Creator/writer Matt Pizzolo (Wired Magazine's "World's Most Wired Comics Creator") and Illustrator Anna Muckcracker Wieszczyk spin the twisted tale of Tommy, a boy living with his dying younger sister in an orphanage run by fascist government The Republic. When he learns of an illicit stolen-organ trade catering to wealthy victims of atmospheric radiation, Tommy sneaks out of the orphanage and follows organ stealers Halfpipe and Angelfuck into the savage land of Outer City on a quest to find a new heart for his dying sister.

New England filmmaker Christopher Di Nunzio (Her Heart Still Beats) dropped us a line to let us know his latest film, Under the Dark Wing, is now finished and prepping for a run on the film fest circuit. Have a look at the trailer, some early artwork, and more.

Under the Dark Wing stars Jessy Rowe as The Girl, David Graziano as George, Fiore Leo as Johnny Boy, and Keith Bennett as The Thug. Di Nunzio directed and co-wrote the screenplay with Pedro Alvarado. Producers are Di Nunzio, Skip Shea, and Liz Di Nunzio.

Synopsis:
Johnny Boy goes on a routine job, but things go awry when he meets a vulnerable young girl. His boss, George, sees her as a money-making opportunity. Neither one has a clue of the deep, dark secret that lies within the girl. Once revealed, it will change the lives of these thugs forever.

Synopsis
SANITARIUM is an anthology that consists of three tales based on particular patients of a mental institution. Each tale begins with Dr. Stenson (Malcolm McDowell), the primary physician at the Sanitarium, commenting on the recent arrival of a new patient. As Dr. Stenson speaks, the individual's story begins. SANITARIUM explores the different narratives of the insane patients – tales which led to their crazed states of minds.

We don't have the synopsis yet, but we do now know the title of "Sleepy Hollow" Episode 1.11, airing January 13th. It's "Vessel," and you can check out some new photos from it right here while waiting for more details on the show's return from holiday hiatus.

The final three Season 1 installments kick off on Monday, January 13, 2014, with Episode 1.11, "Vessel," leading up to a special two-hour season finale event on January 20 comprised of Episode 1.12, "The Indispensable Man," and Episode 1.13, "Bad Blood."

The last time we mentioned The Reverend was around this exact time last year. Might this have something to do with the approach of Christmas? Of course not, but we're in the spirit and see good cheer everywhere! So, wait.... back to the movie...

Level 33 has announced Neil Jones’ The Reverend for home video release on February 11, 2014.

The flick stars Rutger Hauer (Hobo With a Shotgun, The Hitcher), Stuart Brennan (Risen), Tamer Hassan (Clash of the Titans), Doug Bradley (Hellraiser), Emily Booth (Doghouse, Evil Aliens), and Giovanni Lombardo Radice (Cannibal Ferox, The Omen).

Synopsis
After delivering his first sermon, a new Reverend is visited by a beautiful young woman who suddenly attacks him, biting his throat. He survives the attack but awakes with an unknown, uncontrollable thirst. As the Reverend becomes more familiar with his congregation and the wider community, he realizes that it is suffering under a wave of drugs, prostitution, and violence and decides to use his new-found bloodlust to good use.

An update on another flick we haven't talked about in a really long time, Miguel Ángel Vivas' (Kidnapped) apocalyptic tale Welcome to Harmony, has come in! Read on for the first bits of casting news.

According to The Wrap, Jeffrey Donovan (“Burn Notice”) and Matthew Fox (pictured; “Lost”) will star in the post-apocalyptic horror movie Welcome to Harmony, which will serve as the English-language debut of the Spanish director.

Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan) and Juan Sola are producing through their Ombra Films banner along with Hernany Perla (Ghost Team One). Vivas and Alberto Marini adapted Juan de Dios Garduno’s bestselling book Y pese a todo.

The story follows two men and a young girl living in a remote village who remain untouched by a worldwide infection that turns survivors into beasts. Donovan is in negotiations to play the young girl’s father while Fox is set to play the other lead.
