New Guardians Teaser Released; Still Looking Better than Batman v Superman?

$

A few weeks ago David Gelmini caused a ruckus with his story about the new Russian film Guardians, suggesting it looks better than just about any fantasy/superhero film we’ve seen Hollywood churn out thus far.  Some agreed, some didn’t, but one thing’s for sure… this new teaser trailer is likely to make a few converts.

Even better? It has English subtitles!

Guardians, directed by Sarik Andreasyan, stars Anton Pampushniy, Sanzhar Madiev, Sebastien Sisak, Alina Lanina, Valeria Shkirando, Vyacheslav Razbegaev, and Stanislav Shirin.  It has a release date of 23 February 2017 in Russia.  If we’re lucky, we’ll see it here in the States shortly thereafter.

Synopsis:
During the Cold War, a secret organization named “Patriot” gathered a group of Soviet superheroes, altering and augmenting the DNA of four individuals, in order to defend the homeland from supernatural threats. The group includes representatives of the different nationalities of the Soviet Union, and they have long been hiding their true identities. With hard times at hand, they settle down to business and gather to defend their homeland.

Just a week ago Showtime released the official trailer for “Penny Dreadful” Season 3, and to whet your appetites even further, up now is a new behind-the-scenes video in which the cast looks back on the series so far… and offers a little taste of what’s in store for them this year.

The new season begins Sunday, May 1st, at 10PM.

About “Penny Dreadful” Season 3:
This season on “PENNY DREADFUL,” Tony Award-winning star Patti LuPone (“American Horror Story”), who guest starred last season as the Cut-Wife, returns as a series regular in the new role of Dr. Seward, an American therapist who treats Vanessa (Eva Green) with an unconventional new approach. Wes Studi (“Hell on Wheels”) joins as a series regular as Kaetenay, an intense, enigmatic Native American with a deep connection to Ethan (Josh Hartnett) who becomes an ally to Sir Malcolm (Timothy Dalton). The third season also adds Robert Louis Stevenson’s Dr. Henry Jekyll (Shazad Latif).

Other guest stars include Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Christian Camargo (“Dexter,” The Hurt Locker) as Dr. Alexander Sweet, a zoologist who strikes up an unlikely friendship with Vanessa; Sam Barnett (2012, Jupiter Ascending) as Dr. Seward’s mysterious young secretary; Jessica Barden (The Outcast, Far from the Madding Crowd) as Justine, a young acolyte to Lily (Billie Piper) and Dorian Gray (Reeve Carney); and Perdita Weeks (“The Tudors”) as Catriona Hartdegan, a scholar with expert knowledge of the supernatural.

Simon Russell Beale returns as Dr. Ferdinand Lyle. Rory Kinnear (as The Creature) and Harry Treadaway (as Dr. Frankenstein) also star.

Confronting new horrors in dangerous new lands, Ethan Chandler, Dr. Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, Sir Malcolm, the Creature, and the ravishing but deadly Lily must each face — and embrace — their own most truly monstrous selves. But for Vanessa Ives, accepting her demons could exact a terrible cost and plunge the world into unending darkness.

“PENNY DREADFUL” is a frightening psychological thriller created, written, and executive produced by three-time Oscar nominee John Logan (Hugo, The Aviator, Gladiator) and executive produced by Logan’s Desert Wolf Productions, along with Oscar winner Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Skyfall) and Pippa Harris (Revolutionary Road, “Call the Midwife”), both of Neal Street Productions. “PENNY DREADFUL” is a co-production with SHOWTIME and Sky.

Fear, Inc. (2016)

fearinc-newposterStarring Lucas Neff, Caitlin Stasey, Chris Marquette, Stephanie Drake, Abigail Breslin

Directed by Vincent Masciale

With helmer Vincent Masciale and scribe Luke Barnett best known for their hot TV property-parodying viral videos such as “A Game of Thrones Halloween” and “The Walking Fred,” it was pretty safe to assume that their feature debut, the comedy shocker Fear, Inc., wasn’t going to stray all that far from their tried and tested formula.

I certainly wasn’t wrong, the only difference this time being that the filmmaking duo leave much-loved television shows behind them to tackle just about every cult horror movie ever known to man. Having said that, though, whilst Fear, Inc. is a horror-comedy at heart, the backbone of the film is its familiar premise that’s been unapologetically ripped straight out of David Fincher’s 1997 thriller The Game. Up to this point that might sound like an even worse idea than the recent Cabin Fever remake, but I use the term “unapologetically” in the best possible sense in that Masciale and Barnett, and their insidious four lead players, keep piling on reminders of just how self-aware the whole production is – I even gave up counting how many times Fincher’s flick was actually mentioned by the cast.

Cribbing and send-ups aside, Fear, Inc.’s cast and crew are masters in the art of deception, making sure the film feels really quite fresh, despite all the familiar formulas at play, and this is buoyed by the fact the lead player, Joe (Neff), is the polar opposite of Michael Douglas’ Nicholas Van Orton character.

For those who haven’t seen The Game, Fear Inc. follows down-on-his-luck Joe Foster, the ultimate horror nerd who’s yet to find the ultimate scare. He loves to peruse local haunts with his girlfriend, Lindsey (Stasey), but he’s seen every scare tactic in the book a million times before so nothing even startles him anymore–that is, until a particularly shady character hands him a Fear, Inc. business card offering tailor-made terrifying experiences that come at a very high price.

Joe and Lindsey initially shrug it off, but then it gets brought up a few days later when they hold a Halloween soiree with their best friends, married couple Ben (Marquette) and Ashleigh (Drake). Ben has heard of the company by word of mouth and tells Joe not to mess with them as they are into some “seriously messed up shit,” and lo and behold, those were just the magic words Joe needed to hear to urge him to make that fatal call we all knew he was going to make sooner or later.

The voice at the other end tells him there are no more tickets left, but that’s just the very first in a seriously long line of red herrings to throw Joe, and us, off the scent of what’s really at play, and it’s not long before things start kicking off: The house alarm gets triggered, intruders crop up in the garden, and then things move to an all-new level when a TV news flash reports that Joe has killed off everyone else in the house and his next-door neighbor, Bill Peterson, played by Richard Riehle, who puts in a hilarious performance as the nosy neighbor everyone loves to hate.

Of course, Joe knows his horror tropes and thinks he can’t be punk’d that easily so he just takes it all in his stride, convinced it’s just his horror junky wet dream coming true, but Masciale and Barnett know exactly how to push an audience’s buttons and our expectations get twisted on themselves over and over to the point where it just becomes impossible to trust anything and anyone anymore. By the time Joe’s paranoia reaches Van Orton proportions, we’re pretty much on his same wavelength, and that’s all down to Barnett’s serpentine script and some pretty perfidious performances from Neff’s three supporting actors.

Even the film’s effects team seems to be in on the joke, cleverly mixing tackier than tacky props with some disgustingly realistic practical effects, making it nigh impossible to know if people are really being maimed or dismembered or if it’s all just part of a fastidiously planned out prank.

Being the horror fan that I am, the film certainly appealed to me, especially with all the in-jokes littered throughout, but I’m not so sure if people new to the genre or who aren’t so familiar with horror films of decades gone by will appreciate it quite that much. As for the relentless references to The Game, if you haven’t seen Fincher’s classic, then you probably should give that one a watch first; otherwise, a lot of material is going to be lost on you. And if you have already seen it, despite the frighteningly familiar premise, Masciale and Barnett pull out all the stops to mix things up and make sure nothing is as it might seem, ensuring you’ll be scratching your paranoid noggin right ’till the very brutal bombshell ending.

New Feature Son of Oddservations Kicks Off Monday Morning

We’re pleased to announce a new horror/exploitation column will be debuting on Dread Central on Monday, April 18th, at 7am PT: “Son of Oddservations” by fan commentator/filmmaker Andy Lalino (producer, H.G. Lewis’s The Uh-Oh! Show).

Son of Oddservations is an all-new continuation of Lalino’s previous fandom column “Oddservations,” which ran from 2005-2008. “I am happy to return to column writing concerning horror, sci-fi, exploitation, and fandom, especially for Dread Central, the home of horror on the web,” says Lalino, a self-proclaimed veteran fanboy who’s experienced every facet of fandom: horror, sci-fi, comics, RPG’s, sword & sorcery, and even independent filmmaking.

andylalino

Lalino has been a horror/sci-fi fan for as long as he can remember, and he’s eager to share his enthusiasm and love for the fantastic genres with other fans. Especially appealing to the columnist is the celebration of horror and exploitation of the 20th century, the millennium of practical special effects and the “Age of Illustration.”

“I am a great admirer of the make-up geniuses and SPFX masters when practical effects were the key visual – and continue to be impressed by new talent that emerges in the practical FX field,” exclaims Lalino. “I also cherish the hand-drawn illustrations of vintage movie posters and book covers. Frazetta. Ken Kelly. Boris Vallejo. SanJulian. Esteban Moroto. Pablo Marcos and so many more. I can never get enough looking at the wonderful cover art that graced illustrated horror magazines, the pulps, sci-fi paperbacks, and even toy packaging. I miss it; it’s a lost art!” he laments.

Son of Oddservations will decidedly set a “Purist” tone when it debuts on Dread Central. “One of the many things I love about horror is how much it celebrates the past,” states Lalino. “Even now, in the days of smartphones and tablets, a horror fan is just as eager to discuss Lon Chaney and Tod Browning as he or she would Insidious 2 – that, to me, is something to be admired. Son of Oddservations will take this love of horror and exploitation’s history, celebrate it, and endeavor to influence both fans and creatives to immerse themselves in grindhouse and drive-in culture – especially from the 1950’s to the early 1980s.”

Lalino plans to champion independent filmmaking and the philosophy of “cinema over software.” “There’s an over-abundance and over-reliance on CGI to keep an audience interested in the presentation,” Lalino complains. “The more we as audience gets accustomed to the endless wonderscapes that CGI affords, the less we will appreciate the simple pleasure that is a horror film,” he warns.

Reboots, sequels, and reimaginings are also subjects to be tackled in Son of Oddservations. “Big Hollywood spends untold dollars securing licenses and properties that the masses are familiar with, most notably Marvel, DC and Star Wars. Meanwhile, the independent filmmaker has to rely on conjuring their own original characters, storylines, and scripts. It’s unfair – the deck is stacked against the original thinker and artisan. Son of Oddservations will have much to comment about this subject and help the struggling independent author, artist, actor, filmmaker, SPFX artist, print publisher as much as possible. They are the future, not Hollywood. Those artists are doing the heavy lifting, dreaming up original ideas much like the great masters Lucas, Spielberg, and Carpenter once did. We should spend our income on their endeavors, not Disney’s.”

Son of Oddservations promises to be a fannish thrill ride: unpredictable, fearless, aggravating – but hopefully and ultimately enriching. “It’s my goal to comment on what it was like being a fan in the 20th century, and the negative effects of how new technologies and sensibilities have changed the landscape.” The “Rock of Gibralter” of the column will be what Lalino refers to as the “Grit and Grindhouse” of the ‘70s, primarily. There will be plenty of fun stuff, too: interviews, videos, reviews – and you’ll even be encouraged to chime in with your opinions on social media!

Horror fans worry that with the CGI onslaught of endless science-fiction, fantasy, superhero, and kiddie movies – will there be enough interest in horror as a genre in the future? “Yes, people will always love horror – and the horror fan is always the one who comes to the rescue when the movie industry is about to fold,” reassures Lalino. “Like anything else, horror has its ebbs and tides, but always comes back from the grave – never count it out, just when you think the genre is in trouble, it just takes one filmmaker or author with a vision to bring it back to it’s rightful place – as King of the Fantastic Genres.”

…and that is something that Son of Oddservations will truly honor and memorialize.

Federico Zampaglione’s Tulpa Finally Heading to UK DVD in May

Back in 2012/13, we spoke quite a bit about Federico Zampaglione’s Tulpa, and since then our UK readers have been waiting for the film’s official home video release. Now, thanks to High Fliers Films and Jinga Films, their wait is almost over!

The UK DVD release of Federico Zampaglione’s sensational neo-giallo horror Tulpa has a street date of May 9, 2016, and is available for pre-order from Amazon UK.

Claudia Gerini (The Passion of Christ) stars as a successful businesswoman working hard to climb her way up the corporate ladder. To relax, at night she visits a strange club where all her darkest fantasies become a reality. But soon she discovers a killer is on the loose, targeting her top clients. With graphic and horrific murders all around, she discovers that the club she spends so much time in may hold the answer to the killer’s identity.

Italian rock star Federico Zampaglione burst on to the genre scene in 2010 with psychological horror Shadow, which was released by IFC Midnight in North America and Wild Bunch in the UK. Determined to de-throne Dario Argento as the king of Italian horror, Zampaglione quickly followed up with Tulpa, an homage to the aformentioned Il Duce of giallo.

Following a work-in-progress screening at FrightFest in 2012 (which is where our review is from), Zampaglione collaborated with acclaimed British horror director Julian Richards (The Last Horror Movie) to prepare Tulpa for the international market; and a final, much refined version of the film received its world premiere at the prestigious Sitges International Film Festival in Catalonia.

Zampaglione’s background in music (his band, Tiromancino, has had several hits in the Italian charts) plays a big part in his work as a genre director. Like John Carpenter, Federico and his brother, Francesco Zampaglione, have composed a pulsating, electronic score for Tulpa which echos that of Claudio Simonetti and Goblin’s work for many Argento classics.

Exclusive Images from The Raking; Get a Sneak Peek at the Upcoming Monsterpalooza

Los Angeles production company Lesson 1 Entertainment has announced the completion of principal photography on The Raking and sent over a pair of exclusive images for us to share.  Read on for your first look at this independent horror film along with more details.

The Raking stars Bryan Brewer, Cree Kelly, Allie Rivera, Thatcher Robinson, Marisa Davila, and Marshal Hilton (The Bunnyman Massacre). Directed by star Brewer from a script he co-wrote with writer and producer Laura Heine, Brewer also produces with Rivera under their Lesson 1 Entertainment banner.

The film tells the story of a group of college students who set out to debunk an urban legend in Joshua Tree, California, for their anthropology thesis, only to find that they have become part of the legend themselves.

Director and co-writer Brewer says of his approach to the micro-budget The Raking, “From the get-go we decided to steer clear of the found footage genre and to try to deliver a satisfying, cinematic film with a cool monster at its center; and as a life-long monster fan, I’m hopeful we did just that.”

Designed by Syfy’s “Face Off” Season 4 contestant Eric Fox of MORBAX FX, the artist says of his approach in creating the titular creature (which is based on the urban legend of “The Rake“), “It was all practical, and I wanted to deliver something we’ve never seen before in the genre. Also, there’s really very little information that exists on the legend itself, so that allowed me creative license in my design; and once it was on set, I think creature actor Alan Maxon really brought the result to creepy life.”

Horror fans attending the Pasadena, California, monster makeup convention Monsterpalooza (running this coming weekend, April 22-24) will be the first to get a sneak peak at Fox’s creation. Says The Raking co-writer and producer Heine of their presence at the convention, “We’ll be showcasing a life-sized mannequin of the creature as well as some other exclusives from the film.”

The Raking is currently in post-production so expect lots more soon!

Twin Peaks Revival Wraps Filming; More Seasons Coming?

Over twenty years after the original series ended on an unresolved cliffhanger, “Twin Peaks” is set to return to Showtime this year, and David Lynch is thankfully at the helm. Filming began several months ago on the revival, and we’re happy to report today that production has wrapped. But that’s not all. Read on for the latest.

Per the website Welcome to Twin Peaks, David Lynch and his Rancho Rosa production crew wrapped principal shooting on the new season just last week. This past Thursday, April 14, was the last of 140 shooting days in Washington state and Los Angeles, both on location and on a sound stage.

The site also notes that Twitter account @ForLocations, which has in the past reported credible information on “Twin Peaks” location shoots, recently tweeted that the show was wrapping up its “first two seasons,” which indicates that we’re in store for more than just one new season. That tweet has since been deleted.

Very interesting, to say the least.

Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee, Sherilyn Fenn, Dana Ashbrook, Madchen Amick, Kimmy Robertson, Miguel Ferrer, David Patrick Kelly, Richard Beymer, and David Lynch himself are set to return.

New cast members include Ashley Judd, Amanda Seyfried, Peter Sarsgaard, Balthazar Getty, Robert Knepper, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bailey Chase, Laura Dern, Robert Forster, Naomi Watts, Tom Sizemore, Grant Goodeve, Larry Clarke, Caleb Landry Jones, and James Belushi.

About “Twin Peaks” on Showtime:
The critically acclaimed, groundbreaking television phenomenon “Twin Peaks” returns as a limited series to Showtime in 2017. Currently in production, “Twin Peaks” is written and produced by series creators and executive producers David Lynch and Mark Frost and is directed entirely by Lynch. While the full mystery awaits, fans can expect many familiar faces, including Golden Globe winner and Emmy Award nominee Kyle MacLachlan, who reprises his role as FBI Agent Dale Cooper.

Widely considered one of the most influential broadcast series of all time, “Twin Peaks” followed the inhabitants of a quaint Northwestern town who were stunned after their homecoming queen Laura Palmer was shockingly murdered. The sheriff welcomed the help of FBI agent Dale Cooper, who came to town to investigate the case. As Cooper conducted his search for Laura’s killer, the town’s secrets were gradually exposed. The mystery that ensued set off an eerie chain of events that plunged the inhabitants of Twin Peaks into a darker examination of their very existence. Twenty-five years later, the story continues…

New Adaptation of Stephen King’s It Begins Filming in June

After Cary Fukunaga (“True Detective”) departed the project last year over creative differences, Andres Muschietti (Mama) came on board to direct the feature film adaptation of Stephen King’s It, and as we recently reported, cameras are set to begin rolling this summer. Today brings an update in the form of an official start date, so read on.

Per Canadian paper 24 Hours, the new adaptation will film in Toronto from June 27th through September 6th.

Looks like it’s really happening this time!

“Gary Doberman wrote the most recent draft working with [director] Andy Muschietti, so it’s being envisioned as two movies,” producer Roy Lee recently said of the project. “It is very close to the source material in one way but very different if you look at it as a literary piece of work. We’re taking it and making the movie from the point of view of the kids, and then making another movie from the point of view of the adults that could potentially then be cut together like the novel. But it’s gonna be a really fun way of making this movie.

Book Synopsis:
It began for the Losers on a day in June of 1958, the day school let out for the summer. That was the day Henry Bowers carved the first letter of his name on Ben Hanscom’s belly and chased him into the Barrens, the day Henry and his Neanderthal friends beat up on Stuttering Bill Denbrough and Eddie Kaspbrak, the day Stuttering Bill had to save Eddie from his worst asthma attack ever by riding his bike to beat the devil. It ended in August, with seven desperate children in search of a creature of unspeakable evil in the drains beneath Derry. In search of It. And somehow it ended.

Or so they thought. Then.

On a spring night in 1985, Mike Hanlon, once one of those children, makes six calls. Stan Uris, accountant. Richie “Records” Tozier, L.A. disc jockey. Ben Hanscom, renowned architect. Beverly Rogan, dress designer. Eddie Kaspbrak, owner of a successful New York limousine company. And Bill Denbrough, bestselling writer of horror novels. Bill Denbrough, who now only stutters in his dreams.

These six men and one woman have forgotten their childhoods, have forgotten the time when they were Losers… but an unremembered promise draws them back, the present begins to rhyme dreadfully with the past, and when the Losers reunite, the wheels of fate lock together and roll them toward the ultimate terror.

First Casting News for IFC’s Horror-Comedy Series Stan Against Evil

In case you’re feeling like there just isn’t enough horror on TV right now, yet another new series is heading our way.  This time it’s horror-comedy “Stan Against Evil” from IFC, and today we have some casting news for the show.

Per Deadline, John C. McGinley (“Scrubs,” The Belko Experiment) has been set as the lead in IFC’s “Stan Against Evil,” the network’s new series from writer Dana Gould (“The Simpsons,” “Parks and Recreation”). Also cast in the show, which has an eight-episode order for a fall premiere, is actress-comedian Janet Varney (“You’re the Worst”).

The series follows Stanley Miller (McGinley), a sour, aging bulldog of a New England police sheriff who has recently lost his position as head honcho due to an angry outburst at a most inappropriate moment — his wife’s funeral. Impatient and judgmental, he’s not exactly accepting or kind towards people from different walks of life. When the new, strong-willed sheriff Evie Barret (Varney) opens his eyes to the plague of angry demons haunting their small New Hampshire town, Stan begrudgingly joins an alliance with her to fight them off.

“Dana has crafted the most deliciously combustible, subversive contrarian on television. And we are going to set it off!” said McGinley, who also will serve as a producer on the series.

Gould executive produces with Tom Lassally of 3 Arts, Frank Scherma, and Justin Wilkes of RadicalMedia. Filming is scheduled to begin in June in Atlanta so expect more soon.

Catch Some Rays with a New Clip from High-Rise

We’ve been talking about Ben Wheatley’s High-Rise for quite some time, and with the film heading our way soon from Magnolia Pictures, a new clip has been unveiled.

High-Rise will hit On Demand outlets on April 28th, followed by a limited theatrical release on May 13th.

Scripted by Amy Jump, the film stars Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers, Crimson Peak), Jeremy Irons (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Sienna Miller (American Sniper), Luke Evans (Dracula Untold), and Elisabeth Moss (“Mad Men”). It chronicles the savage breakdown of social order inside a giant residential apartment block.

Synopsis:
High-Rise stars Hiddleston as Dr. Robert Laing, the newest resident of a luxurious apartment in a high-tech concrete skyscraper whose lofty location places him amongst the upper class. Laing quickly settles into high society life and meets the building’s eccentric tenants: Charlotte (Miller), his upstairs neighbor and bohemian single mother; Wilder (Evans), a charismatic documentarian who lives with his pregnant wife, Helen (Moss); and Mr. Royal (Irons), the enigmatic architect who designed the building. Life seems like paradise to the solitude-seeking Laing. But as power outages become more frequent and building flaws emerge, particularly on the lower floors, the regimented social strata begins to crumble, and the building becomes a battlefield in a literal class war.

Lindsey Morgan Set to Lasso Bloodthirsty Cowboys

For whatever reason, I’ve always enjoyed films set in nursing homes, with Cocoon and Bubba Ho-Tep being the two best examples of how effective that particular setting can be. The reason I bring this up is because upcoming film Lasso is set in a similar locale, and that’s more than enough to pique my interest. Read on!

Variety reports that Lindsey Morgan (“The 100”) has been set as the lead in the independent thriller, starring alongside Andrew Jacobs (Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones).

The two actors will play characters navigating life working for a senior community center. Their lives are turned upside down when they find themselves fighting to stay alive against a group of psycho, bloodthirsty cowboys from the local rodeo. Morgan’s character holds a huge amount of guilt for not keeping the senior citizens safe and takes on the duty of ensuring their safety throughout the film.

Evan Cecil is directing from a script by Roberto Marinas. Elaine Gibson is the producer.

We really loved the first two episodes of The Walking Dead: Michonne (check out our reviews here and here) so we’re getting really hyped for the finale, which is coming our way on April 26.

From the Press Release:
Today we can share the release date and all-new screenshots for ‘What We Deserve,’ the third and final episode in The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Miniseries.

Episode 3: ‘What We Deserve’ will be available starting Tuesday, April 26th, on PC/Mac via the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, the PlayStation®Network for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One® and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, for compatible iOS devices via the App Store, and for Android-based devices via Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.

In ‘What We Deserve,’ feeling the weight of choices both recent and long ago, Michonne tries to protect an innocent family… but Norma and the vengeful Monroe crew are closing in. As reality shatters and the ghosts of the daughters she abandoned demand to be heard, your choices will determine who lives, who dies, and what redemption really means in a world gone to hell.

The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Miniseries confronts players with tough choices. Today we can also share a new video, which highlights some of the difficult decisions players were faced with in the second episode (beware, contains major spoilers for the story so far).

The miniseries stars the iconic, blade-wielding character from Robert Kirkman’s best-selling comic books, portrayed in-game by award-winning actress Samira Wiley (“Orange Is the New Black”). Haunted by her past and coping with unimaginable loss and regret, the story explores Michonne across a three-episode miniseries event. Players will dive into the mind of Michonne to discover what took her away from Rick, Carl, and the rest of her trusted group… and what brought her back.

To date, The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series has sold more than 50 million episodes worldwide, earning more than 100 Game of the Year awards from outlets including Metacritic, USA Today, Wired, Spike TV VGAs, Yahoo!, The Telegraph, Mashable, Polygon, Destructoid, and GamesRadar and was also the recipient of two BAFTA Video Games Awards for Best Story and Best Mobile Game.

The Walking Dead is set in the world of Robert Kirkman’s award-winning comic book series and offers an emotionally-charged, tailored game experience where a player’s actions and choices affect how their story plays out across the entire series.

The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Miniseries Episode 3 – ‘What We Deserve’ is rated ‘M’ (Mature) for Intense Violence, Blood & Gore, and Strong Language by the ESRB.
