A Translation of What David Said to the Engineer in Prometheus

Prometheus has been in theatres for a few weeks now, and one thing that's been bugging a lot of people is the mysterious monologue that android David speaks to the alien Engineer in the final scenes of the film without subtitles. Well, be bugged no longer!

The Bioscopist tracked down Dr. Anil Biltoo of the SOAS Language Centre in London, the real-life linguistics consultant used for the film, to see if he could shed some light on things, and he provided the following info:

The line that David speaks to the Engineer (which is from a longer sequence that didn’t make the final edit) is: "/ida hmanəm aɪ kja namṛtuh zdɛ:taha/…/ghʷɪvah-pjorn-ɪttham sas da:tṛ kredah/"

A serviceable translation into English is: "This man is here because he does not want to die. He believes you can give him more life."

As for that longer sequence which Ridley Scott filmed but ultimately cut, the good doctor told the site: "We’re all going to have to wait for the director’s cut to see if the conversation between the Engineer and David – and there was indeed originally a conversation, not merely an utterance from David – yields any fruit."

Be sure to click the link below for more details, such as a reminder of the scene in which David is learning the building blocks of language and we see him taking a lesson in Proto-Indo-European (PIE) Linguistics, where a holographic professor takes him through the ABC’s and recites Schleicher’s Fable. The professor in the clip is in fact Dr. Biltoo. Prometheus star Michael Fassbender spent 17 hours reciting Schleicher’s Fable, committing it to memory, only to have Ridley Scott use only the first line in the film. Talk about dedication!

Attorney Cast to Untie the Devil's KnotAtom Egoyan's Devil's Knot, based on the events surrounding the recently freed West Memphis Three, has cast an actor to play one of the key components in this truly tragic and horrifying story. Read on for the latest!

Deadline reports that Matt Letscher has joined the film to play defense attorney “Paul Ford,” the man who represents Jason Baldwin, one of the three teenagers accused of a triple homicide. Despite no psychical evidence, the three were convicted in 1993. Baldwin, along with Damien Echols and Jessie Misskelley, Jr., were finally released in 2011.

He joins Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth in the project that will be produced and financed by Worldview Entertainment. College drama student James Hamrick will make his feature debut playing key defendant Damien Echols, and Seth Meriwether has been tapped to play West Memphis Three defendant Jason Baldwin . Also starring are Mireille Enos, Colin Firth, Reese Witherspoon, Collette Wolfe, Alessandro Nivola and Kris Polaha, while Amy Ryan and Dane DeHaan remain in talks to join the ensemble. Kristopher Higgins will join Meriwether and Hamrick as fellow West Memphis Three member Misskelley, Jr.

Based on journalist Mara Leveritt's bestselling book of the same name, Devil's Knot follows private detective Ron Lax (Firth), who took on the West Memphis Three case pro bono. He found DNA evidence linking Terry Hobbs (Alessandro Nivola), the stepfather of one of the three murdered boys, to material that was used to bind one of the victims -- evidence that helped convince a judge to release Baldwin, Misskelley Jr. and Echols last year.

San Diego Comic-Con 2012: First Details on the ParaNorman PanelSo far, most of the news for the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con has revolved around TV shows and collectibles, but now the movies are starting to chime in, and first up are details regarding the ParaNorman panel to be held on Friday, July 13th.

The cast and crew members expected to be in attendance include Kodi Smit-McPhee, Anna Kendrick, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, directors Chris Butler and Sam Fell, and Laika CEO Travis Knight. The panel, which will be held in Hall H (exact time TBD), will be moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s Dave Karger.

Along with cast and crew interviews, you can expect a sneak peek of footage from the film. In addition, a ParaNorman ice cream truck will be cruising the streets of San Diego's Gaslamp District, offering free ice cream and giveaways to the public (three zombies and ParaNorman himself will be roaming the area as well).

ParaNorman is directed by Sam Fell (The Tale of Despereaux, Flushed Away) and Chris Butler (Coraline, The Corpse Bride) from Butler's original screenplay.

Synopsis:
ParaNorman is set in the town of Blithe Hollow, whose locals profit from mining the town’s history as the site, 300 years ago, of a famous witch hunt. 11-year-old Norman Babcock (voiced by Kodi Smit-McPhee) spends much of his days appreciating the finer points of scary movies and studying ghost lore. In fact, Norman is gifted with the ability to see and speak with the dead, such as his beloved grandmother (Elaine Stritch). Most days, he prefers their company to that of his flustered father (Jeff Garlin), spacey mother (Leslie Mann), and deeply superficial older sister Courtney (Anna Kendrick). At middle school, Norman dodges bullying Alvin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), confides in the impressionable Neil (Tucker Albrizzi), and tries to tune out his blowhard teacher Mrs. Henscher (Alex Borstein).

Norman is unexpectedly contacted by his odd uncle Prenderghast (John Goodman), who floors him with the revelation that a centuries-old witch’s curse is real and is about to come true, and that only Norman will be able to stop it from going into overdrive and harming the townspeople. Norman bravely summons up all that makes a hero – courage and compassion – as he finds his paranormal activities pushed to their otherworldly limits.

The voice cast includes Academy Award nominee Casey Affleck (The Killer Inside Me), Tempestt Bledsoe ("The Cosby Show"), Jeff Garlin (Toy Story 3), John Goodman (Red State, Matinee, Monsters, Inc.), Bernard Hill (Titanic), Academy Award nominee Anna Kendrick (Up in the Air), Leslie Mann (Rio), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Fright Night 3D, How to Train Your Dragon), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Let Me In), Tony and Emmy Award winner Elaine Stritch ("30 Rock"), Tucker Albrizzi (Good Luck Charlie), Alex Borstein ("Family Guy"), and Jodelle Ferland (Case 39, Silent Hill, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse).

Look for it in theatres on Friday, August 17th, 2012.

Anchor Bay Ready to Drench You in Blood and Leave You Breathless

Something about Gina Gershon being evil and getting soaked in blood just gets us giddy. That's exactly what we're gonna get when Anchor Bay unleashes the horror comedy Breathless this August! Dig it!

From the Press Release
In Texas the most deadly weapon is an unappreciated woman. On August 14th, 2012, Anchor Bay Films presents the gory, cunning comedy/thriller that will leave a welcomed bad taste in your mouth with Breathless. This Texas Gothic tale from director Jesse Baget (Wrestlemaniac, the upcoming Cellmates) and Academy Award® winning executive producer Nicolas Chartier (The Hurt Locker) comes to Blu-ray™/DVD Combo for an SRP of $29.99 and DVD for an SRP of $26.98.

Lorna (Gina Gershon, Showgirls, P.S. I Love You) is a strong-willed Texas woman who’s had enough of her untrustworthy husband, Dale’s (Val Kilmer, Top Gun, Batman Forever), criminal acts and lack of husbandry. Fed up, she enlists the help of her old friend, Tiny (Kelli Giddish, NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”), to help her figure out what to do with Dale after his latest double-cross involving the theft of $100,000 from a bank.

As the girls brainstorm for a “neat” solution, they medicate themselves with only the best of prescriptions - Tennessee whiskey - which leads them to even bigger problems. When Sheriff Cooley (Ray Liotta, Goodfellas, Hannibal) inconveniently enters the conundrum, the story evolves into a tale of revenge and survival that resolves in true Texas fashion: bold and ruthless.

Breathless is co-written, directed and edited by Jesse Baget and co-written by Stefania Moscato. Mark Holder, Danny Roth and Christine Holder produced, with Nadine De Barros and Nicolas Chartier as executive producers. Music is by Jermaine Stegall, Bill Otto is Director of Photography and Nathan Lay is Production Designer.

Director Darren Lynn Bousman and writer/performer Terrance Zdunich are bringing their groundbreaking musical film fusion event The Devil's Carnival to the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 13th, at the Gaslamp Theatre prior to kicking of their second road tour for the project.

From the Press Release:
After 40 incredibly successful multi-city shows, The Devil's Carnival kicks off its second tour at the most popular fan convention on the globe with a one-night only screening beginning at 11:59 PM on July 13th at the Gaslamp Theatre located at 701 Fifth Avenue. Tickets are now available by clicking here.

The Devil's Carnival show at Comic-Con will feature a live slideshow performance, a costume contest, never-before-seen footage of REPO! The Genetic Opera, and a Q&A with Darren Lynn Bousman and Terrance Zdunich. Attending cast will include Alexa Vega, Emilie Autumn, and Marc Senter.

The circus slideshow-type performances in The Devil's Carnival feature 12 original songs written by Terrance Zdunich and composer Saar Hendelman. Seamlessly fusing character and story with song, the first week the The Devil's Carnival soundtrack was made available online, it was the #4 most downloaded album on iTunes. (Note that The Hunger Games was at #3). A sample of each track can be found at TheDevilsCarnival.com.

“I wanted to create a project that makes going to the movie theatre a more interactive, fun event where audience members aren’t afraid of keeping quiet and can sing along and shout out at the characters on screen,” explains Bousman. The Devil's Carnival originated as a self-funded passion project with a cast and crew of 16 until, in true carnie style, it organically grew to encompass a team of over 100. On the road tour each show has its own carnival-like atmosphere, opening with live entertainment, the music video and making-of Repo! The Genetic Opera documentary; followed by the screening of The Devil's Carnival; and ending with a Q&A with cast and crew.

The Devil's Carnival cast includes Jessica Lowndes ("90210"), Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas), Dayton Callie ("Sons of Anarchy", "Deadwood"), Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock Saints), Marc Senter (The Lost), M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan (of the Grammy award-winning band Slipknot), J LaRose (Insidious), Ivan Moody (Five Finger Death Punch), Victoriandustrial rocker Emilie Autumn, Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects), Ogre (of the legendary industrial band Skinny Puppy), Alexa Vega (Spy Kids), and Briana Evigan (Step Up 2).

The Devil's Carnival will be an ongoing project, and Episode Two is currently being written so look for lots more soon!

Richard Stanley Talks His Films, His Roots, and More!

$

0

Richard Stanley Talks His Films, His Roots, and More!September, 1990: Young South African born filmmaker Richard Stanley delivers what will be his signature work, Hardware, despite what was considered to be a meager budget when compared to the wallets of the Hollywood giants.

A slasher story that is set in a visually eye-popping dystopian future most major releases could only dream of achieving. It would set him at the forefront of Britain's most promising directors.

His second feature was the unfortunately misunderstood Dust Devil. Though given creative freedoms of a much larger budget, the production suffered heavy re-editing by distributor Miramax, which altered Stanley's original vision for the project. A later Director’s Cut would surface on DVD.

Things took a turn for the worse on his next big production – penning the original screenplay for a $35 million dollar adaptation of H.G. Wells’ The Island of Doctor Moreau, a production reportedly plagued by two troublesome stars in the form of Val Kilmer and Marlon Brando. Stanley was replaced as director a mere three days into filming.

From there, Stanley would return to the world of documentary filmmaking, having cut his teeth in the area during months spent in Soviet-occupied Afghanistan with the well received look into the troubled country titled Voice of the Moon.

More recently, Stanley directed a portion of the Grand Guignol-inspired horror anthology The Theatre Bizarre, with his adaptation of Clark Ashton Smith's "The Mother of Toads" – an arcane fable fiendishly laced with Lovecraftian references. We recently sat down with Stanley for a discussion of all of this and more.

On his roots that led him to where he is today...

My dad wanted to be in the film business when he was growing up in England. Apparently he was caught stealing camera equipment from the set of the Thief of Baghdad, was disgraced and ended up in South Africa. He still wanted to be a filmmaker. He never got it together but he had a whole editing setup upstairs, and when I was a child, I was playing with the editing equipment. He showed me King Kong when I was four years old; he brought back a print and forced us to watch it. That and Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine. Like a lot of other kids I was into that.

On stirring up controversy at film school...

I managed to get my ass expelled. It's a film called Rights of Passage. What I wanted to do was show a day in the life of prehistoric man. It starts with a 20th century office worker who’s leaving his suicide note on a Dictaphone. We get the 20th century person's suicide note on the soundtrack with images of the primordial people going about their business. I couldn’t convince anyone to play a caveman so the caveman is played by myself covered in mud. I think what worried the film tutor the most was the location. It was shot on the cliff faces of a mountain, and the rock climbing sequences were pretty hairy.

On his tutor's reaction to the film...

Partially, I don’t think he was expecting it. It was about reincarnation, and there was kind of a very despairing tone to the whole piece. It upset him on some level. He got very angry when he saw the rushes. He confiscated the film.

On his decision to shoot in Afghanistan for Voice of the Moon...

That came from about three years of making music videos. I got so cheesed off with making one music video every month that I was pretty desperate to do anything else. It's okay for a while to do music videos, but the quality goes down; you're just doing anything you can to pay the rent. After about three years we had enough. Basically I've got a sort of first on/last off policy as a director. I like to arrive first in the morning and stick around until everything’s loaded and taken out. I noticed that the driver of the truck was complaining about the gears. He was saying it was as difficult to change gears on the truck as it was on a BTR-60, which I was realised was a lightweight Soviet troop transporter used in the invasion of Afghanistan. I then asked him how he got to drive one, and he explained he had been fighting the Russians in Afghanistan and he was back in London trying to save up enough money to go back to join the Jihad. I asked if we paid for his plane ticket, would he take us with him. My cameraman and I went back with him to Afghanistan to film what happened.

I guess we were pretty fed up with London enough that we gave it a shot. I was pretty in love with Afghanistan at the time and wanted to get into the Hindu Kush really badly. We were fond of the results. I think we came back with something really worth having.

Richard Stanley Talks His Films, His Roots, and More!

On how the production for Hardware came to be...

Well, like everything it was a series of very random encounters, basically. Hardware had been written before I went to Afghanistan. During the time I was in London, I was churning out screenplays and banging on every door available trying to get people to read them. The Hardware script had been doing the rounds.

On accepting scripting and directing duties on the ill-fated Island of Doctor Moreau remake...

By a miracle we got Marlon Brando on board to play Doctor Moreau – that’s because he agreed to any movie provided you put a million dollars in escrow. Brando agreed to do it – I don’t believe he actually read the script. Then once he was on board, suddenly it was a hot project, at which point Bruce Willis came on board. There was a point in time where he was going to be the leading man. At that point when Bruce Willis was on board, New Line wanted to get on board. New Line more or less took over the production, then we started building the sets and getting prepared in Australia, and then of course the next thing that happened was that Bruce Willis hopped out of the project.

The reason I was given was that he couldn’t travel at the time because he was getting the divorce from Demi (Moore) and didn’t want to leave the States. Simultaneously, Brando's having his problems – his son is going down for first degree murder. After that his daughter, Cheynne, committed suicide. It started to become clear that Brando would be too bereaved to start shooting on Day One. All of a sudden we couldn’t have Brando or Bruce Willis. There was a move to try to replace the leading man, which is where Val Kilmer came in. Val had just come off Batman Forever, and he didn’t have enough time to play the lead role. He wanted 40 percent fewer shooting days then we had on our schedule. The only thing we could do to try and keep Val on board was put him in as a support part so he ended up taking up the part of Montgomery, Moreau's assistant, which was originally meant to be played by James Woods -- at which point James was axed from the project, too. So suddenly New Line had Val Kilmer in a supporting part and no one else, which did not make them happy. At no point did New Line want to make a $45 million Richard Stanley movie – they were hoping for a Bruce Willis movie.

Richard Stanley Talks His Films, His Roots, and More!

On the rumors of his sneaking back on set in animal disguise...

Yeah, I came back as a dog. This is true. I still have the dog head. It's in pretty poor shape, but I held on to the head as proof. The cast knew because there were still some of my cast members on the movie, trapped and held by their contracts. No one wanted to stay on the production because it was a totally different script from the one we had been shooting originally.

On viewing the finished film...

I was forced to see it as part of a contractual screening. They had to show me the movie and I had to watch it. They didn’t want to show it to me and I didn’t want to see it.

Was the result close to his vision?

Well, they used my sets. The sets were already built. They kept the same idea of updating it, moving it to the near future, but beyond that it’s pretty much a different movie. It's very close to the Burt Lancaster movie, the original Don Taylor film. It seems they went back and re-adapted the last remake rather than trying to work with the [original] script. I was very naïve to imagine Hollywood would make that movie to begin with because looking back, I now realise the script was really off message for a Hollywood film, particularity one that large.

In a way The Hitcher helped us because the Dust Devil script had been knocking about for so long that when The Hitcher came out, I was so pissed that someone had already tackled the same theme that we ended taking the script the other way and making even less of a serial killer movie.

I'd originally written it as the first movie I wanted to make when I was still in South Africa. I tried writing a screenplay that revolved around two characters in a car. We could shoot it on location with a great landscape.

On a potential Hardware sequel...

Well, Hardware has unique problems because the original rights are so conflicted that no one has been able to untangle the legal rights to the movie to make a sequel. This is because Palace Films went bankrupt, got taken over by Polygram, got broken up, and now Buena Vista, Miramax and MGM all own parts of the title.

His advice for future filmmakers...

If you wanna be a filmmaker, you have to keep working. Keep shooting! If too much time has passed and I haven’t turned over on something, I start to get worried. At the moment we are just working on a new documentary project. The important thing is to start shooting and keep shooting and try not to let anyone stop you.

So what's next for him?

Well, thankfully The Theatre Bizarre has done very well for itself. Everyone was pretty happy with "The Mother of Toads" episode. The actual segment was shot for a lot less than what we used to shoot the music videos for. It worked out well; the producers are very satisfied with the results so they’re talking about bankrolling a feature-length Lovecraft adaptation, which we hope to shoot in the next year. The idea is to shoot it out here on location in the backwoods of the Pyrenees. We do live in a very Lovecraftian part of the world, which we showed off pretty well in "The Mother of Toads".

I find most of the themes I deal with tend to scare people. It’s difficult to deal with the supernatural of the future in a modern movie because generally it tends to wander over to sci-fi horror. Again, the important thing is to start shooting and keep shooting and try not to let anyone stop you. Never give up!

However the local’s way of life is under threat from a large corporate retail machine headed up by a monster named Bennett who wants to buy land for a new development.

After discovering a crate of herbal tea washed up on shore, Jackson hatches a plan to sell the tea and save the village. However, the new lease of life the tea seems to give people soon turns into a nightmare, and Jackson finds himself in a village of Zimmer frame-wielding, flesh-eating pensioners.

Can Jackson save the village, redeem himself and stay alive? Attack of the Herbals puts the "tea" back into terror, an outrageously funny horror comedy that is quite simply Scotland’s answer to Shaun of the Dead...

Rufus Sewell Talks Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

With Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (review) in theatres now, we recently had a chance to sit down with a few of the film's stars, and so we'll start up this series with the flick's big bad, Rufus Sewell!

Rufus Sewell Talks Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

Q: You’ve done your share of period pieces over the course of your career, but never something as revisionist as this and as entrenched in American history. As an English actor, was it fun to go into the project as somewhat of an outsider?

Well, I did "John Adams" and played Alexander Hamilton, so this is a nice alternative. It was very fun for me, and I hadn’t done anything like this before and had never played a vampire. I mean, I’ve certainly done my share of period films, I’ve done my share of bad guys. But for me, the mix and the fact that is was a vampire, which was a first for me, made me feel like I was almost being versatile.

Q: You have actually been approached to play a vampire before, though, right?

No, I’d approached people and they turned away. I was soliciting for vampire roles unwanted.

Q; So, when you first heard the title, what did you think? Did you just assume it was silly and ridiculous?

No, I didn’t. Listen, I’m familiar with deliberately goofy titles. I mean, Hobo With a Shotgun? I’m your man. I hear that and it sounds fucking awesome. And then the script either lives up to that potential or not, be it that kind of deliberately bad thing or whatever the particular angle is. I liked the idea of it, especially with the names connected. And then it’s a matter of looking at the script, and does it do what I want it to or not. The fact that, you know, like with the book, it took things relatively seriously, which I quite liked. I was certainly aware that you can do something that’s really funny for about fifteen minutes, but in terms of a long film it’s quite difficult to do.

Q: Was the idea of a secret society that’s pulling the strings from behind the curtain attempting to change history appealing to you? That’s one of the main aspects of the film I liked a lot.

Yeah, I liked the political struggles, and I liked the fact that he was a very, very, very old dude who had seen it all come and go and that he had ends he wanted to meet. He had a very clear objective, and if you were on his side, he wasn’t such a bad guy, and if you were in the war and were on the vampire’s side, this is the guy you would want looking after your interests.

Q: How much of the action were you actually in? It was hard to tell what was an effect and what was actually you.

I don’t know. I know that all those moves I made my attempts at, but I do also know that they didn’t look anything like that! So I don’t know how much was actually me.

Q: Yeah, that high kick was pretty impressive.

Oh, that was totally me. Totally me. (laughs) No, I think they’re very clever with it. You do as much as you can, and then the stuntman takes over and it’s a mixture of all of them. I’m appreciative of the digital and human help that my character got in some situations. From what I’ve seen, the action scenes are pretty awe-inspiring.

Q: It’s definitely a unique look. The film was just screened on the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln. Were you bummed that you weren’t able to attend?

Yeah, a little bit. Well, they were there for a quite a long time. It looked like quite an involved trip, but yeah I was jealous as fuck. That would’ve been so cool, and I’ve heard that everybody loved it. Every time a vampire was killed they’d shout, “Get some!”.

Q What was the makeup process like for you throughout the shoot?

Well, we all had it better than [Benjamin Walker], who was in makeup as Lincoln for five hours. I was relatively fortunate because my character was pretty much together. He was the one that scrubbed up the best since he was kind of the friendly face of the vampires. Unless I was fully vamped out, as they put it in the script, I didn’t have the full...it was a little pale and a little this and that, but only when I turned did the eyes come into play and the veins and everything.

Q: So, what was the most fun thing to shoot? The fight scenes or maybe the ball?

Yeah, the ball was interesting for me. The fight scenes can go on for days and days and days, and you’re never quite sure of exactly what you’re doing. You do in terms of story, but in terms of the logistics and the physical demands of it, it would be very easy to lose the scene and just get caught up in the grunt work. That’s more exciting to watch because you’re blown and finally see what it is. But out of the scenes that were the most fun for me to do, the ballroom scene was quite nice for me. I got a chance to actually speak man to man, President to President, with Abe, because I consider him to be somewhat of an equal. That’s where this idea of the cigar room chat with a vampire came about. And that was one of the rare scenes where you have a sense of how it went at the end of the day.

Q: Are you looking forward to seeing how the film is going to do? It’s pretty original for the most part.

Yeah, it’s not an easy sell. There’s a group of people that kind of get the idea, and there’s a group of people that are still curious.

Q: The idea of combining genre with historical or literary fiction has been a trend that people responded to, and it has to feel good to be the first film out of the gate that blends the two in this particular way.

There’s no genre that I don’t want to be involved in if it’s good examples of. There’s no medium I don’t want to work in. I’m happy to do a bit of everything because to take the long view, I want my career to reflect that. I’ve always wanted to be in a film like this and to play a vampire, but that doesn't mean I want to just play vampires.

Q: Genre films used to seem more set in their ways. You were were either in a hard science fiction film or a formulaic horror movie. Now it looks like there are a lot of mash-ups that are happening and you get to do a number of things in one role.

I think the difference is financial. They did exist, but it was more of the B and C movie strata. Tim Burton says that this sounds like the kind of movie he used to go see double features of in Times Square. They made them for like twenty-five bucks. They didn’t make them as tentpole movies. That’s the difference.

Q: I was actually surprised how epic the movie felt in scope at times.

That’s the trick it has up its sleeve.

Q: I mean, for better or worse, this film goes for it!

It does, completely unapologetically. This is this, and that’s it!

Director Jared Skolnick, best known for his award-winning adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s The Music of Erich Zann, is near completion on his newest film, a short entitled The Earth Rejects Him; and he's provided us with a teaser trailer and some stills.

The Earth Rejects Him, an original horror story written by Skolnick, is a haunting and surreal tale of a young boy who accidentally discovers a corpse while biking in the woods. In a moment of impulsiveness he steals a tooth from the body and buries it in the ground. His return to the burial site reveals a development he never would have expected.

Influenced by the films of Werner Herzog, Terrence Malick, and Guillermo del Toro, as well as the short stories of H.P. Lovecraft, this project from producer Robert Savage and Dead Henchmen Productions promises to be a unique and terrifying experience, an elegant horror film about modern man’s relationship with the unknowable powers found in nature.

The film, which should be making the film festival rounds soon, stars Ellis Gage, Colin Allen, Jacob Moon, and RJ Ramos. For more info visit The Earth Rejects Him on Facebook.
