In December monsters, zombies, ghouls, freaks and goblins sunk their teeth into Atlantic City, and now they hunger for more. The weird, the odd, the Bizarre will return to the Tropicana Casino on June 13th through the 15th for a weekend of entertainment, education, commerce and camaraderie as we celebrate all things horror, paranormal and beyond at the Jersey Shore.

This spring Bizarre AC II brings back the strange and curious for an entertaining weekend at the Tropicana Casino and Resort. Featuring a variety of interactive components, a Bizarre cast of characters along with the most entertaining and outlandish band of misfits ever to set foot in our seaside city. Now in its second run, show producers have created a variety of off the wall antics and experiences for show goers of all ages. The hours will fly by for attendees as they walk and shop the unique exhibitors of the Bizarre Bazaar. Fans will be in a state of shock and amazement as freaks and geeks from around the globe command the stage. Horror movie aficionados can take part in movie screenings complete with Q&A’s and the chance to delve into the minds of some up-and-coming film-makers. Bizarre AC II will also play host to special celebrity guests and speakers from movies and TV.

Bizarre AC II will offer show attendees the chance to meet over 40 of today’s and yesterday's horror and paranormal stars and icons such as Corey Feldman and the Lost Boys reunion, Chip Coffey, "The Ghost Hunters" Steve Gonzalves and Dave Tango, Doug Bradley and the Hellraiser Cenobites and so many more. The unique Bizarre setup will allow show goers the opportunity to intact one on one or in group settings as personalities host seminars, screenings and Q&A’s.

Tropicana Casino & Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, plays host to an off the wall band of creatures and personalities for the second time in under a year. Bizarre AC II kicks off Friday, June 13th, from 6pm-11pm, and runs Saturday, June 14th, from 12pm-10pm and Sunday, June 15th, 12pm-5pm. Admission is $25 for a one-day pass, $40 for a two-day pass and $55 for a three-day pass. An adult must accompany anyone under the age of 16. Another new promo arrived today for Season 4 of MTV's "Teen Wolf," and this time it focuses on the mysterious new character of The Benefactor. The new season kicks off Monday, June 23rd, at 10PM.

Tyler Posey, Dylan O'Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, and Holland Roden star along with new regulars Arden Cho, Shelley Hennig, and Ryan Kelley as Deputy Parrish. Season 4 also sees the return of Jill Wagner as Kate Argent, JR Bourne as Chris Argent, and Ian Bohen as Peter Hale.

I sit pantsless, the ashtray is teaming, and the Tim Horton’s cups I haven’t peed in lie crushed in a pile. I have been glued to my computer for the past nine hours, and it all comes down to this: Playstation at E3 - the headlining spot, the main event, the Wrestlemania of video games.

Sony showcased a good deal of variety at their press conference but with a very heavy showing for the horror genre. Like a past his prime prizefighter, I had barely recovered from the serene sting of the last horror-inspired thrill ride before I was lambasted with another.

Second in the lineup for Sony was the recently delayed title The Order: 1886.While the game is very rooted in Victorian, steampunk-inspired sci-fi, it’s new trailer is horror served straight up. The trailer sets the tempo out of the gate, stumbling around in the dark with only a lantern to guide you while discovering haunting shadows and bloody surgical rooms.

Winding deeper into the darkness, and deeper into its trap, it’s not long before you find a zombie-like creature feasting on a carcass. That’s the safest you will feel during this ordeal, as it soon transforms into a hulking mega beast, dripping desire for your blood. Chase gives way to gunfire as the battle explodes.

The trailer is meant to display some of the game’s shooting mechanics, and they look fantastic. It also contains a genuine next-gen touch as the monster employs evasive maneuvers, dodging bullets as it draws ever closer to your throat. The only thing scarier than a flesh-eating monster is one that’s evolving.

The Order: 1886 will be available exclusively for Playstation 4 on February 20, 2015.

Among all of the major horror announcements at Sony’s E3 press conference, The Last of Us Remastered was the crown jewel for horror fans. The Last of Us Remastered will be released on July 29th exclusively on PS4.

The game is a reissue of the PS3 game The Last of Us with updated graphics to represent the power of the PlayStation 4 system. The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer, which showed off the game’s engine operating on the PS4 system.

But the PlayStation team wasn’t done there. The upcoming PlayStation 4 version of Diablo 3 will contain a The Last of Us dungeon, featuring signature enemies from the zombie game.

The Last of Us soon became as classic on PS3, as the zombie game won multiple game of the year awards, even more impressive since it was released in a year that gave us Grand Theft Auto 5.

The Last of Us Remastered was created by the team at Naughty Dog, Sony’s biggest first-party developer.

Dark Horse Comics made an announcement at last weekend's Phoenix Comicon that the great Steve Niles (Breath of Bones, 30 Days of Night) is returning to his old haunt with a brand-new four-part miniseries: Criminal Macabre: The Third Child.

The Third Child, which directly follows Criminal Macabre: The Eyes of Frankenstein, will take readers into a dark place in a tale that only Steve Niles could tell, enhanced by Christopher Mitten’s fantastic artwork.

Synopsis:
Cal’s changed... and maybe not for the better. Locked away and drowning himself with booze and aspirin, Cal feels the evil consuming him. Will he be able to withstand its pull, or will he become the monster war’s greatest weapon of destruction?

Criminal Macabre: The Third Child Issue #1 is on sale September 17th.

A leisurely jog, ear buds in, smiling at pretty girls, doing a little shadow boxing. This was the test taste Sony fans received for the upcoming zombie game Dead Island 2. The new trailer blended a sense of fun with the horrors of a zombie horde and was the most entertaining trailer shown all day.

The Playstation 4 moved 7 million units in four months, all because of the fans. To acknowledge how much the fans mean to them, Sony executive Adam Boyes read letters from fans at Sony’s E3 press conference. He reported the biggest thing fans wanted: zombies.

This came amidst a slew of horror game announcements at Sony’s E3 press conference. One thing is for sure, if you are a horror fan, you need a PlayStation 4. Dead Island 2 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Sony had a real theme of you get more when you play with Playstation, and this was continued with Dead Island 2 as Playstation owners will receive access to an exclusive 30-day beta.

The game will feature multiple character types for each style of play and is touted to offer a next-gen multiplayer experience.

With the excitement at its peak during Sony’s press conference at E3, Playstation executive Shuhei Yoshida entered the scene. Amidst a gigantic round of applause, he announced a new title by developer Software, a team that he reports is "dear to my heart."

Shuhei’s stamp approval is a promising sign as he unleashed the trailer for the previously unannounced horror title Bloodborne. Amidst shots of long forgotten surgical equipment, a slow dragging corpse, and extreme closeups of point blank murder, the new Bloodborne trailer is a true exercise in atmospheric horror.

But it’s not atmosphere alone, as a brief glimpse is caught of a gargantuan monster as it sneaks up in the background, playing on the horror of the unseen. The trailer closes with the announcement: Coming 2015.

In the months leading up to E3, content from Bloodborne was leaked under its alternate title, Project Beast.

Amidst the multitude of horror-related news coming from Sony’s powerhouse press conference at E3 was the announcement trailer for the upcoming game Let it Die.

Little to nothing is known about the game, but the trailer reveals it will contain fearsome looking killers and come with armaments that inspire sheer terror.

I'm sure we'll be hearing much more from Sony regarding this one in the future, but for now the trailer is all that we've got. Given its dark promises, that's okay by us... for now anyway.

Let it Die is developed by Grasshopper Manufacture, the studio behind the beloved Killer 7, and is slated for a 2015 release.

Raw, brutal, rough, and bloody. The words that spewed out of GG Allin’s mouth over twenty years ago never rang truer than they did at Sony’s E3 press conference as they unveiled a new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat X.

Aside from a glistening showcase of violence, the trailer reveals a few of the game’s new characters. Classics like Scorpion and Sub Zero are there, but so are two new characters: a woman who looks like a deadly dragonfly mutant and a giant/little person combo that is no doubt inspired by Master Blaster.

Weapons were one heavy showcase as Scorpion dices with short swords and the Master Blaster character unleashes a fury of stabbings with blades attached to his wrists. Developers also promise Mortal Kombat X will feature an online ranking system, putting players in contact and competition across the world.

Mortal Kombat X is slated for a release sometime in 2015.

Despite the smash-hit success of "The Walking Dead," you can't help but wonder how far the writers can take the show. After all, how long can the characters really continue to survive in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested landscape?

Well, if the people behind the scenes have their way, they'll last a really, really long time.

Recapping a Producer's Guild of America panel that took place this past Sunday, Indiewire reports that "The Walking Dead" producer David Alpert opened up about the future of the ratings powerhouse, remarking that plans are already in motion for at least seven more years after this coming October's fifth season.

"I happen to love working from source material, specifically because we have a pretty good idea of what Season 10 is gonna be," said Alpert, when questioned about what it's like to work from a pre-existing product. "We know where Season 11 and 12... we have benchmarks and milestones for those seasons if we're lucky enough to get there."

Of course, whether or not Rick and the gang survive that long is mostly dependent on how well the ratings continue to hold up. As long as people are watching, it's likely that the show will continue so I wouldn't be at all surprised if we're someday talking about "The Walking Dead" Season 12 here on Dread!

One of the big questions we were left pondering after the shocking Season 2 finale of NBC's "Hannibal" was whether or not Will Graham would make it to Season 3, and who better to ask such a question than Graham himself, Hugh Dancy? Read on to find out what the star recently had to say about the future of the character!

In an interview with Collider, Dancy revealed that Graham is very much alive and will continue to be alive throughout at least some portion of the impending third season.

"Of all the characters that are bleeding out in that house, Will is the only one who we know from Thomas Harris’ novel that that actually happened to in the source material, and he comes back from it," said Dancy. "And I just know that the story between the two of them isn’t finished. At the very least, there’s a third act there. We know that Hannibal has to be behind bars, at some point, and we know that Will has to get him there. It wouldn’t make sense any other way."

So Will is still kicking, but what does that mean for Season 3? Will the season center on Will's pursuit of Hannibal? And how many more times will I write the word/name "will/Will" during the course of this post?

"To be honest, I think that’s still up in the air," Dancy revealed in response to the second question I posed above. "It would be odd, at this point in the show, having built up the rich stew that we have, to suddenly no longer have Hannibal and Will together, at all. I’m interested to see Hannibal gallivanting around the world, wherever he is, and I’m interested to see Will gallivanting around the world. But there’s gotta be some form of communication."

It's been 60 years since Godzilla first tore up the big screen, and though countless sequels and spin-offs have come in the original film's wake, there are also a handful of planned projects that just never ended up getting off the ground.

Many of those films have been well documented, but one we had never before heard about has just come to our attention, and now we're pretty damned bummed out about it not happening. Read on!

As reported by SciFi Japan, Gremlins director Joe Dante was at one point in time hired to helm a movie called Godzilla Reborn, which was set to be a sequel to the 1999 Japanese film Godzilla 2000. Details about the failed project came courtesy of Michael Schlesinger, who penned the unfilmed screenplay.

Schlesinger says that though the idea for the film started off as a joke, he eventually realized it had legs and decided to actually pursue the quest to bring it to life. After pitching the head of production at Columbia Pictures on making the modestly-budgeted Godzilla film, with old-school man-in-suit effects, the writer got to work on banging out a spec script.

"My concept was to approach it like an Aaron Sorkin script: The characters bicker and banter but are basically united against a common problem," said Schlesinger. "Part of the problem with most Godzilla films is that the human characters take themselves so-o-o-o seriously, and that’s a large part of why the monster scenes seem funny by comparison. My belief was that by keeping the human scenes light-hearted and the monster scenes serious, audiences would at best be less inclined to laugh at the monster scenes, or at worst, they’d be laughing throughout — but at least that’s a consistent tone."

"I structured it as a sort-of sequel to GODZILLA 2000, retaining the Miyasaki character," he continued. "The action was fairly archetypal. Godzilla stomps his way through most of the islands on his way to Mauna Loa. By the third act, we find out why: An eruption awakens a sleeping monster called Miba, a giant bat-like creature made of molten lava. And the battle is on."

"One of the things I liked most about the script was that it explored the dichotomy between how Americans and Japanese perceive Godzilla, something that had never been done before," the writer further explained. "We see him as a hero who saves us from other monsters or aliens; the Japanese see him as pure destruction. I really liked exploring that."

So, what happened? Despite the fact that Schlesinger had the entire movie in his head, right down to the casting - roles were mentally given to genre faves like Bruce Campbell, Christopher Lee and Jamie Lee Curtis! - he says that the death of the project came when a new producer took over at Columbia, who wasn't interested in lower-budgeted films. He wouldn't even read the script, and Godzilla: Reborn forever entered the bowels of Development Hell.

Last week's most talked about news story came out of Wisconsin, where two pre-teen girls nearly murdered a classmate in an apparent attempt to appease the fictional character known as Slender Man.

We were hoping it would turn out to be an isolated incident, but it seems that Slender Man's path of destruction is only beginning...

WLWT News 5 reports that a mother in Hamilton County, Cincinnati, was attacked by her 13-year-old daughter this past weekend, who was wielding a knife. The mother says that her young daughter was wearing a familiar looking mask and was apparently obsessed with the myth of Slender Man.

"I came home one night from work and she was in the kitchen waiting for me and she was wearing a mask, a white mask," said the traumatized mother. "I got the feeling she was playing a role. It didn't feel like her at all."

The mother said that after hearing about the two 12-year-old Wisconsin girls allegedly stabbing their friend to please Slender Man, she thinks her daughter was under the same influence. "We found things that she had written, and she made reference to Slender Man. She also made references to killing," she told reporters. "She even created a world for Slender Man in the game Minecraft."

The mother was treated for minor injuries including cuts to the face and neck, and her daughter is being held in the Hamilton County Detention Center. She's facing charges as a juvenile.

What the hell is going on in this country?!?!

All of us who bought Wolfenstein: The New Order have been waiting patiently for our first glimpse at the new Doom. Today that moment came at the ongoing E3 event in Los Angeles.

We don't get much, mind you... Hell, we don't even get to see any gameplay, but just knowing that it's coming is enough to warm even the coldest of gamers' hearts.

Alien: Isolation is preparing for this year’s E3 with a new 20-minute theatre presentation and an exciting new game mode playable on the show floor. Additionally, SEGA revealed a new gameplay trailer and fresh screenshots for the game this morning. Check 'em out!

Alien: Isolation is a first-person survival horror game capturing the fear and tension evoked by Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic film. Players find themselves in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger as an unpredictable, ruthless Xenomorph is stalking and killing deep in the shadows.

Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.

Alien: Isolation will be available from October 7, 2014, for Xbox One, PlayStation4, Windows PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation3.

If ever there were a reason for space madness, eh? We kid, we kid. Anyway, some quick news is coming out concerning the latest sci-fi/horror hybrid 400 Days. Read on for the first details.

According to Deadline, production is just getting under way on the flick that stars Brandon Routh (pictured; Superman Returns), "Arrow's" Caity Lotz, "Mad Men's" Ben Feldman, "Ed's" Tom Cavanagh, "Defiance's" Grant Bowler, and Dane Cook.

New Artists Alliance and XLrator Media are backing the film, which is written and directed by Ghost from the Machine's Matt Osterman.

400 Days centers on four astronauts sent on a simulated mission to a distant planet to test the psychological effects of deep space travel. Locked away for 400 days, the crew’s mental state begins to deteriorate when they lose all communication with the outside world. Forced to exit the ship, they discover that this mission may not have been a simulation after all.

“Matt has penned a mind-bending screenplay that reminds us why we make movies to begin with,” says NAA’s Gabriel Cowan. “Its complete sense of awe, mystery, and character grabbed us right away. And the crazy reality is that NASA and the European Space Agency are conducting these types of psychological experiments in preparation for the manned mission to Mars right now.”
