The casting news keeps rolling in for HBO's upcoming "Westworld" adaptation as Ed Harris has joined the huge cast to play The Man in Black, described as the distillation of pure villainy into one man. Oh. Hell. Yeah.

Inspired by Michael Crichton's 1973 film of the same name, the project, which hails from JJ Abrams' Bad Robot Productions, Jerry Weintraub Productions, and Kilter Films, is billed as "a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin."

Harris joins the previously announced James Marsden, Eddie Rouse, Demetrius Grosse, Kyle Bornheimer, Currie Graham, Lena Georgas, Steven Ogg, Timothy Lee DePriest, Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolso Berdal, Angela Sarafyan, and Simon Quarterman.

Abrams will executive produce alongside veteran producer Weintraub and Bad Robot's Bryan Burk. "Person of Interest's" Jonathan Nolan, who co-wrote the pilot, will executive produce and direct as well. Lisa Joy co-wrote the pilot and will exec produce. Kathy Lingg will co-EP, and Athena Wickham is a producer on the Warner Bros. Television drama. David Coatsworth is set as a co-EP and line producer with Susie Ekins set as a co-producer.

Ice cracks, blood splats on the window, behind it a decrepit man swings a blade. Just one day before its Gamescom press conference, Sony has released a final teaser trailer.

While in the previous teasers horror was implied, today Sony flat out says, “Watch Horror Reinvented on PS4.”

With this third trailer, it appears increasingly likely that the game Sony is teasing is the slasher movie inspired Until Dawn. But there is a broader implication...

By claiming to "reinvent" horror, they may be hinting at an all-new platform for experiencing the genre. And that platform may very well be through virtual reality on Sony’s Project Morpheus. Sony may not only be announcing a fresh offering of terror, Gamescom may be the place that Sony officially unveils the much hyped virtual reality device and finally gives gamers a release date on Project Morpheus.

For those who have not decided on which next-gen system to buy, virtual reality may very well steer a large chunk of the fence sitters in Sony’s direction.

Morningstars, sledgehammers, chainsaws, and machetes... lots of machetes. The new gameplay trailer for Dead Island 2 showcases the raw brutality of unabashed hate crimes against the undead, delivered in a visceral style that only the Dead Island series can deliver.

Blood... man, that shit gets everywhere! And I mean everywhere. Every cut in this trailer reveals a fresh zombie getting stabbed, slashed, shot, bludgeoned, and stabbed again. Based on this trailer, gamers can expect to be slipping on blood and giggling with delight after a session with Dead Island 2.

Dead Island has always provided players with a hero’s arsenal of implements of sheer chaos, and today’s trailer really gave gamers some fun new toys to look forward to. It’s like a gore-filled Christmas morning. Forget church; there are zombies to decapitate!

Speaking of weapons, the trailer also promises three pre-order bonuses, all of which are in-game weapons that look like slaughter powerhouses: the katana, the classic sword; the home strike, a chain-covered mace; and the grinder, which looks like a weed hacker with engine blades.

No specific release date was given, but the trailer reveals that Dead Island 2 has a tentative release window of spring 2015.

The cybernetic super criminal is back and in Mortal Kombat X, and he’s deadlier than ever. A brand new reveal trailer just surfaced one day ahead of Gamescom, and it brings fans an old school favorite. Kano is back.

The trailer shows Nether Realm’s new re-imagining of Kano in a fist-on-fist banquet of brutality with one of the game’s new characters, D’vorah, and this latest sneak peek gives gamers a brief glimpse into Kano’s three fighting styles:

- With "Cutthroat" Kano uses his cybernetic heart to power massive attacks with two blades fat enough to give Jason knife envy.
- "Cybernetic" style lets Kano use his eye-mounted laser and toss grenades, allowing him to control the fight from a distance.
- "Commando" style allows Kano to utilize his Judo background by focusing on grappling and grounding opponents.

It all ends with a sneak peek of Kano's face-melting new fatality.

Mortal Kombat X's release date has not been announced yet, but with Gamescom starting tomorrow, that may change very quickly.

Shocking news is coming out of California today as legendary comedian Robin Williams has passed on at the age of 63. A pop culture icon in every conceivable way, Williams will forever be remembered for the millions of laughs he brought to the world... but there were a couple of screams as well.

In addition to his comedic stylings Williams never starred in a true horror movie, but he did flirt with the genre for sure in movies like Dead Again, Insomnia, and One Hour Photo that latter of which was absolutely chilling.

Suicide is suspected but as of yet unconfirmed.

“Robin Williams passed away this morning. He has been battling severe depression of late," his publicist said in a statement. "This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”

Williams was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor three times and took home an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in 1997’s Good Will Hunting.

With regard to Spirit World Films'Creature Feature, Dread Central will be bringing you exclusive on-the-set coverage from Atlanta. This is SWF’s fifth feature in less than three years, their last two films, Realm of Souls and Buried Cain, having both been picked up for global distribution.

Spirit World is the brainchild of three talented indie trendsetters: Chase Smith, Lance Paul and Edward Boss. These Southerners are turning the game upside down on what the true meaning of indie global films are.

With films budgeted at less than 20k, their combined multi “hat-wearing” skills are proving that you don’t need a giant budget nor a Hollywood soundstage to create cult classics.

Over the next four weeks Spirit World will be giving us a glimpse of what goes into making movies on the fly, including exclusive first looks at the monsters soon to be taking over your theaters. Creature Feature is comprised of four short vignettes and one overall story that connects them all, similar to classics such as Creepshow and Trick 'r Treat.

Do clowns scare you? Have you ever looked at a scarecrow and wondered, "What if?" Are zombies or naked witches your thing? Or what about a good ole classic such as a werewolf? Have you ever heard of Gentleman “Springed Heel” Jack? If not, you will come October 2015!

The Creation of the Creature Feature

Coming out of their last drama, Buried Cain, the boys were wanting to get back to their roots and film another horror film. When they approach a new story they always pull from what scares them or what moves them to theaters for their favorite genre, Horror. Creature Feature is the love child of Lance and Chase after wetting themselves in The Conjuring last October and the three of them watching Trick 'r Treat only about 100 times. They wanted to create something that paid respect to not only the vignette way of telling a creepy story but also to the monster movies of there drive-in past. They also wanted to leave their own mark on the monsters living in our imaginations. That’s why when you see the zombie or the werewolf he won’t be your usual walking dead or howl at the moon regular.

“Having such a great reverence and nostalgia for old monster movies and slasher films that I grew up on, I wanted to create something that would not only bring back those great memories for myself but also conjure up those same feelings inside the viewer of how it felt to watch those movies for the first time -without your parents knowing of course -while also taking it in a new direction for the younger generation...” Chase Smith (Writer, Director, Creator)

Once they had their idea planned they then went about the approach of figuring out how to make their creation stand alone and set a milestone. One thing about indie film making is that no matter the size of your crew you will always end up wearing many hats. Luckily for Spirit World, Partner Lance Paul had worked as a comic book/storyboard artist when he first came out to Hollywood. Adding this to the feature in their eyes just seemed like it should have always been there. I mean even the best horror movies have their roots in the Penny Dreadfuls of the early 1920’s and Marvel/DC’s Creep and Monster comics of the 50’s. Using the comic approach during editing and through scenes also added something to the feel of their budget (which all indie film makers want) but also allowed them to create amazing effects and save money.

It also allowed them to add to the Creature Feature brand. By combining the same art panels and comic book covers from the movie, this allowed them to create a tag along graphic novel coming out later next year also. Which is something else your usual indie horror movie doesn’t consider.

The Clown

Adding the killer clown to their vignettes was a given from day one. Growing up in the 80’s and early 90’s as child horror fans meant being introduced to such horror (and maybe a bit cheesy) classics like puppeteer turned director Stephen Chiodo’s Killer Clowns from Outer Space or Stephen Kings’ Penny Wise in IT. Both Chase and Lance wanted to take that same effect those clowns had on them as children but bring a more realistic and terrifying approach to modern filmgoers.

No one knows this more than the poor babysitter in the start of Creature Feature just trying to make a few dollars and hook up with her boyfriend one fateful Halloween night. Unfortunately for her, she takes the wrong job watching some kids with clown issues. Through out the night she is dealing with two little girls, horror movie fans themselves, crying about creepy clown nightmares. Of course the babysitter chalks it down to their father’s weird obsession with clown statues, but is that all it is?

Early in the process of development Chase and Lance got together to take a little from all of their favorite clowns and then add their own take on it. While researching clown makeup for the initial concept designs, Lance used a lot of the early clown designs from the 50’s. Especially an old black and white cereal commercial that featured a creepy clown promoting sugary cereal, just what should be selling it. Using the concepts and then meeting with their talented SFX makeup artist/Fabricator Alex-Michael Petty ("The Walking Dead") they were really able to bring their demented clown to life. Through this short vignette you will be able to see two forms of the clown, one as the sad “lifelike” clown statue and as he turns into full Creature Clown.

Playing the role took some casting effort on their part. Finding an actor willing to go through two different makeup visual effect processes plus find one with the talent to really pull off the role was daunting for them.

Luckily Atlanta is full of a wealth of talent and they were able to find a convincing actor in the form of Michael Steigler. Once Creature Feature is released I’m sure Michael’s clown will be added to some of the creepiest Clowns to scare on the silver screen. A murdered father comes back for vengeance against his gold-digging wife and traitorous children. All of this Halloween fun is made possible by a London gentleman known only as... "Jack."

During its run on FX, "American Horror Story" has included several people known more as singers than actors, and the show is about to add one more: Patti LaBelle has signed on for Season 4, subtitled "Freak Show."

LaBelle is following in the footsteps of Adam Levine in Season 2 and Patti LuPone and Stevie Nicks in "AHS: Coven." Per TVLine, the Grammy winner will appear in four episodes of "American Horror Story: Freak Show," playing the mother of Gabourey Sidibe’s character.

LaBelle’s alter ego — who the site was told will not sing — is a local townsperson who begins to unravel the murderous secrets of Twisty the clown killer.

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" begins in October. Jessica Lange, Denis O'Hare, Emma Roberts, Gabourey Sidibe, Jamie Brewer, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy, Finn Wittrock, and Michael Chiklis star in "American Horror Story: Freak Show." Along with LaBelle, this year's guest stars include Wes Bentley, who'll appear in the Halloween episode.

Motel Hell is available now on Blu-ray. That information alone should be enough to send horror fans shrieking into the streets to party until the wee hours of the morning. And we here all want to get into the festivities as well.

To celebrate the release of Motel Hell on Blu-ray, we've compiled our Top 9 Chilling Chainsaw Kills. Of course this is in reference to the iconic chainsaw scene in the climax of the film. There was something simply unforgettable about Rory Calhoun wielding a ridiculously long chainsaw while wearing a pig head like a Halloween mask. Classic!

But before we get to our top horrific movie chainsaw kills, we have some honorable mentions to share with you. We've got to go way back to find some of the earliest on-screen chainsaw kills. We came up with Dark of the Sun (1968) and The Wizard of Gore (1970) for two of the first buzzsaw butcherings. We've also got to give recognition to the belovedly flawed chainsaw killing spree Pieces. Chainsaws were just one of the instruments of devastation in Tokyo Gore Police, but Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers was much more specific in its choice of weapons. And finally we give one last shout out to the frozen zombie romp Dead Snow.

And now, on to the Top 9 Chilling Chainsaw Kills.

American Psycho (2000)
Oh, Mr. Bateman, you do have a way with the ladies. But you've got to file it away in your memory bank that they don't like being bitten that hard. American Psycho had some crazy scenes, but none nuttier than the flying chainsaw murder. Sure, the odds of dropping a chainsaw from three flights up and actually hitting a moving target with a hit direct enough to kill is probably pretty slim, but this was so cool that we'll gladly suspend our disbelief and buy the fact that Patrick Bateman was one damn accurate chainsaw sniper. Big points for style on this one.

Hatchet II (2010)
As with everything creator Adam Green did with the Hatchet series, he took the chainsaw kill to a whole new level as well. It was not enough for Green to have Victor Crowley kill just one person at a time with a traditional chainsaw. Oh no. In Hatchet II Crowely de-crotches two victims at one time with a chainsaw long enough to cut through a Buick. Catch a glimpse of the devastation in the Hatchet II trailer.

Scarface (1983)
All great chainsaw kills don't necessarily have to come in horror movies... although, as a rule, that's normally how it goes. But the chainsaw murder in Brian De Palma's legendary film Scarface was so intense and powerful you can almost mark it as the moment where Scarface took it to the next level. Not only does the scene have the bloody bathtub chainsaw kill and dismembering that Al Pacino's character, Tony Montana, is forced to watch at gunpoint while awaiting his turn at the blade, there's also a brutal gunshot to the head right in the middle of a crowded street in broad daylight. This was an incredible scene that set the tone for all the violence and debauchery that was yet to come in Scarface.

The Last House on the Left (1972)
No, it wasn't much of a chainsaw they used in The Last House on the Left, quite a dinky little thing when compared to those used in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2 or the ridiculous giant in Hatchet II, but what this little chainsaw has going for it is legend. David Hess, who masterfully played the leader of the gang of bad guys, Krug, faced off with Dr. John Collingwood (played by Gaylord St. James) as the good doctor came at him with the aforementioned chainsaw. But in true 70's/indie fashion, the little chainsaw was live! That's right... no safety precautions, no gimmicked chainsaw. St. James was coming at Hess with a fully functioning, very deadly chainsaw as they slipped around on the floor. Although they surprisingly cut away from the actual chainsaw plunging into Krug's chest, the effect was a complete home run and helped to cap off the gruesome finale of The Last House on the Left.

"Dexter" (2006-13)
"Close your eyes, Dexter. Don't look." The last words that Dexter Morgan's mother would say to him before she was brutally murdered with a chainsaw in a shipment trailer, with Dexter left sitting in a pool of his mother's blood until he was later found by the police. This particular chainsaw killing, of course, was the seed planted in Dexter's head that would inspire him to kill scores of his own victims, trying to satiate his "dark passenger." The murder of Dexter's mother is indeed one of the more emotional ones you will see. And the massive amount of blood used in the scene creates an awesome effect. This moment was flashed back to on multiple occasions during the series run of "Dexter," and each time you could feel his pain from the loss of his mother in such a horrific fashion.

The Chainsaw Sally Show (2010-12)
Chainsaw Sally is one entertaining girl. Created by the massively talented indie filmmaker JimmyO Burril and featuring his beautiful wife, April Monique Burril, as Chainsaw Sally, the project has been the subject of a feature film, two successful seasons as a web series, and now an upcoming animated series. The dialogue is wittily written by JimmyO, and April delivers it in a style only she can. Those of you who perhaps have not gotten to know Sally yet can do so with this great clip below, which served as a teaser for The Chainsaw Sally Show: Season 2 web series that was, to that point, the highlight of the Chainsaw Sally story. She's funny, she's sexy as hell, and she's nuttier than squirrel shit. You can't help but love Chainsaw Sally.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Part 2 (1986)
Sure, it might not have had the power or grit of the original film, but for pure chainsaw action, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Part 2 certainly brought its "A" game. Kudos must be given to Dennis Hopper's up-the-butt chainsaw attack on The Cook, Drayton Sawyer, that took care of his hemorrhoids and led Drayton giving everyone the ol' fuck-you-Charlie, but Chainsaw 2 had one even better right in the opening scene. Rowdy Texas high schoolers Buzz and Rick messed with the wrong creepy pickup truck, resulting in Leatherface removing the top half of Buzz's head in an unforgettable Tom Savini F/X moment. Dog will hunt!

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
Although Leatherface didn't actually get to do too much chainsaw slicing and dicing in the original film, we still, without a doubt, have to include the carving of Franklin Hardesty on this list. An angry, wheelchair-bound grouch, Franklin was the beast to his sister Sally's beauty. Franklin fell victim to the Sawyer Clan in a gruesome manner (even though most of the visuals were cut away from, it's still a very powerful scene as we witness Leatherface maniacally attacking Franklin). We've included an extended version of the clip here in tribute to the late Marilyn Burns, who played Sally, so you can watch her reaction as Franklin gets attacked as well as her nightmarish run through the woods while being chased by Leatherface. Rest in peace, Marilyn. The genre would not have been the same without you.

Evil Dead 2 (1987)/Army of Darkness (1993)/The Evil Dead (2013)
We have to include some love to the impressive chainsaw work in the Evil Dead remake and have included a clip below of the fantastic chainsaw kill in the movie's finale. But as impressive as the modern version of Evil Dead violence was - and it was amazingly bloody, violent, twisted, and nasty - the originals brought something else to chainsaw violence: comedy. Bruce Campbell was doing Jim Carrey-like work before Jim Carrey did it mainstream. Campbell did more than just wield a chainsaw; he strapped the fucking thing right to his arm and, in a deviation from the norm, fought for the good guys. Groovy!

Sony fans may soon be feeling like they have been just been robbed. The Tomb Raider franchise was once the exclusive property of the PlayStation system; however, things have just changed in a big way.

Microsoft announced at its Gamescom 2014 press conference that the next installment in the series, Rise of the Tomb Raider, is coming exclusively to Xbox. Yep, Microsoft just struck a major blow against Sony seeing as Tomb Raider is, in the words of Darrell Gallagher, “a game that defines survival action.”

This announcement comes less than a year after Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition was remastered for both next-gen consoles and worked to reboot the franchise by providing the best gaming experience available in the first quarter of 2014.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will improve upon the series’ previous entry by offering “more challenging tombs.” In Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition tombs were relegated to a side activity, but rumors have persisted that they will return to a central role in Rise of the Tomb Raider.

No concrete release date was given, but Gallagher informed fans that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available holiday 2015, exclusively for Xbox.

Just as the Microsoft press conference was getting rolling, horror fans’ ears quickly perked up as Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, promised “giant monsters.” Everyone watching knew this meant one thing... Evolve!

Fans had just received news that the monster-based multiplayer shooter was delayed until February, but today Microsoft announced an Evolve beta set for January, exclusive to Xbox One. On top of that, Xbox One users will get access to Evolve‘s DLC first.

This is an interesting counter-punch from Microsoft. At E3 Sony established PS4 as the best place to play Destiny, and Xbox has struck back by taking control of Evolve, the other online shooter shown at E3.

Developers, with the help of “shout casters”, showed off one of the maps available in the Beta. Four players took on the Kraken in the Distillery map, which featured some impressive verticality as the monster climbed cliffs and flew across the sky, raining absolute hell on the hunters.

It was also learned that the Distillery map will feature an X factor. The map contains wildlife prowling around its terrain that can do damage against the hunters or the monster. The demo also revealed that Evolve will feature in-map leveling as the Kraken searched out food for the purpose of leveling up its skills.

The demo closed with a definitive release date. Players can get their hands on Evolve on February 10, 2015. Evolve is a multiplayer shooter that allows players to play as one of four hunters or lets players control an all-powerful, mythic monster.

The idea of Arnold Schwarzenegger starring in a zombie film is one that seems like mere fan fiction as it's pretty much too good to be true. But the upcoming film Maggie is proof that sometimes...

...things that are too good to be true are actually true.

In the Henry Hobson-directed zombie flick, Arnold plays the father of a 16-year-old girl (Abigail Breslin) who is infected with the zombie virus, staying by her side as she transforms from human being to flesh-eating monster.

Yes, Arnold Schwarzenegger as a zombie's dad. We're not making this up, and we're so glad that we're not.

It was announced today that Maggie will be having its world premiere next month as part of the Toronto International Film Festival's 2014 lineup. The festival runs September 4th through the 14th, and Maggie will be one of many special presentations.

In the meantime check out a handful of stills from the film, which also stars Joely Richardson, Amy Brassette, Aiden Flowers, and Rachel Whitman Groves.

1975 saw the release of a Mexican film called Darker than the Night (Mas Negro que la Noche), which has just been remade not here in America, but rather over in Mexico. Well, that's a new one, am I right?!

Billed as Mexico’s initial live-action stereoscopic 3D movie, the remake of Carlos Enrique Taboada’s shock-fest is set for release sometime at the tail end of this year, and a trailer has just hit the net. It's loaded with spooky imagery so be sure to turn those lights off and check it out!

Written and directed by Henry Bedwell, the film stars Zuira Vega, Adriana Louvier, Erendira Ibarra, Ona Casamiquela, Margarita Saenz, Lucia Guilmain, and Josemaria Torre.

Synopsis
When four women move into an old house left by one woman's aunt, strange things begin to happen. Bizarre voices, visions of ghosts, and mysterious noises lead them to discover the darkest powers of evil and a horror and agony beyond terror.

After dialling it down to show off some upcoming indie titles, Microsoft came back hard by showcasing their most anticipated exclusive, Sunset Overdrive, with a brand new eye-popping trailer.

Ted Price, CEO of Insomniac Games, took the stage to give players a new look into the “mutant apocalypse.” The new trailer tells the story of Floyd, former head scientist at Fizzco, who created the energy drink Overcharge, which turned anyone who drank it into human killing mutants.

On top of that, Fizzco has added murderous robots to the mix.

Floyd told gamers to “stay moving and stay shooting” as they took control of the “outrageous weapons,” a signature of Insomniac's games, such as the teddy launcher, a gun that shoots dynamite-strapped teddy bears, allowing players to rain adorable death on all those who oppose them.

The presentation closed with the announcement of the Sunset Overdrive bundle. The bundle will come with the game, a white Xbox One console, and bonus in-game weapons. The pre-order for the Sunset Overdrive bundle begins right now. It will be available for purchase October 31st.

After the press conference Ted Price stopped by the Microsoft post show with even more Sunset Overdrive footage. The second look introduced players to one of the game’s many factions, the Samurai-inspired Troop Bushido man-boy scouts.

Troop Bushido is just one of the many factions to be featured in Sunset Overdrive. As the game was played, Price revealed that each faction is especially vulnerable to certain weapon types. The giant mutant featured in the demo had a particular weakness to fire.

The demo also featured a brief discussion of style points. Killing enemies while grinding or traversing will garner style points. Earning style points will grant the player access to amps, which allow for skill upgrades.

Seconds after the dust settled on a fantastic Sunset Overdrive presentation, Bonnie Ross from 343 Industries took the stage. It was time for Microsoft to unleash the big guns, and they did not stop firing as she dropped bomb after insidious bomb from the Halo universe.

Ross started strong by informing fans that Ridley Scott’s digital series Halo: Nightfall will be included in the upcoming game Halo: The Master Chief Collection.Halo: Nightfall tells the story of Agent Locke, one of the key characters featured in the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians.

Then the bombs started dropping: On December 29th players can “preview of one of our unique multiplayer experiences in the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta,” said Ross.

But before the crowd could scramble to safety from the last artillery shell, another fired as Ross announced The Halo Channel. That’s rightl Halo is getting its own channel! It will be home to Halo: Nightfall, behind-the-scenes looks at all of the upcoming Halo titles, bloopers, and the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta. Ross also said The Halo Channel will allow players to “seamlessly join friends across any game on Xbox One.”

Then the controls were handed over to the executive producer at 343 Industries, Dan Ayoub, to discuss their next release, Halo: The Master Chief Collection. His main focus was capturing the famed multiplayer of Halo 2. Fans were overjoyed to hear the modern version will feature a leveling system identical to that of Halo 2. All this while showing off the remastered Sanctuary map, locked in conflict with some of Halo’s top players.

Then it was time for the final assault, the Halo 5: Guardians beta, available in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The beta will run December 29th to January 18th and will feature three game modes. The beta also features a “fair start” program, with all players starting at an equal level. It will also contain some unlockable content that will transfer over to the full version of Halo 5: Guardians. All this at 60 frames per second.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be available on Xbox One November 11th, and Halo 5: Guardians will be available in 2015.

The supernatural thriller stars Anna Walton (Hellboy 2), Tom Wisdom (300), Nick Brimble (A Knight’s Tale), and Emma Cleasby (Dog Soldiers) and was penned by Carolyn, who has acted in Neil Marshall’s Centurion and Doomsday.

Synopsis:
Soulmate follows a young woman who retreats to a remote cottage after a failed suicide attempt. She soon discovers the cottage is haunted by its previous owner but decides to remain, hoping to find comfort in the ghost.

The film is produced by Claire Otway and is a Neil Marshall (The Descent, Dog Soldiers, Centurion) presentation for production company Sterling Pictures. Executive producers on the film are Michael Riley, John Wolstenholme, and Doug Abbott for Screen Projex, alongside Belgian co-producer Title Media.

A polite person would call it “unorthodox” while a realist would say it's “an incredibly stupid move.” As stupid as it was, Sony decided to show the new trailer for its biggest exclusive title, The Order: 1886, before their press conference even started.

If you didn’t happen to tune in early, you missed Sony’s hottest property in action. Ready at Dawn Studios has premiered a brand new trailer for The Order: 1886, and in a move that will surely cause all of geekdom to applaud vigorously, Nikola Tesla is a character in the game.

From the trailer it appears one of history’s most famous scientists is employed in making weapons and items for the game’s knight of the order. A "Q" to their James Bond, if you will. This may be related to Tesla’s supposed plans to create a death ray.

The trailer also reveals that those who pre-order The Order: 1886 will receive The Knight’s Arsenal DLC.

The Order: 1886 blasts its way onto the PS4 on February 20th, 2015.
