Look for some new blood to check in to ABC's "666 Park Avenue" as both Enrique Murciano ("Without a Trace", "CSI", "NCIS") and Wendy Moniz ("One Life to Live", "Guiding Light", "Damages") have landed multi-episode arcs on the new series.

Per TV Guide, Murciano will play Dr. Todd Scott, a handsome young surgeon living at The Drake. He unwittingly drives a wedge between Louise (Mercedes Masohn) and Brian (Robert Buckley) when he calls in a few prescriptions for and makes some neighborly house calls to a recovering Louise. Naturally, like the other residents of The Drake, Dr. Scott will be battling some hidden demons of his own. He'll first appear in the fifth episode.

Moniz will play Ingrid, the therapist of Drake resident Nona (Samantha Jade Logan). Despite Nona's resistance to dig deep in their sessions, Ingrid shows a genuine concern for her young patient and hopes that if Nona cannot trust her, perhaps she can open up to the trusting Jane (Rachael Taylor). She'll first appear in the October 14th episode.

Look for "666 Park Avenue" to debut on Sunday, September 30th, at 10:00 pm ET/PT.

We had mixed feelings about the fourth season of BBC Three's "Being Human" since it was such a departure from prior seasons, but we're still anxious to see what Tom, Hal, and Alex will be facing in Series 5. The first word of a new villain has come; read on for details!

Per the "Being Human" blog, the inside scoop from the show's writers paints a pretty evil picture:

"Captain Hatch has seen it all, at least he reckons he has, and whatever it is, he doesn't much like it. Stuck in a failing body, in a wheelchair, in a dismal seaside hotel, things aren't exactly sunny side up. Hatch embodies the worst in humanity - he's bitter, manipulative, obsequious, and cruel. And beneath his decrepit exterior there lies within him a dark and toxic secret that could rattle your soul with fear."

And who might be playing Captain Hatch? None other than BAFTA-nominated actor Phil Davis (pictured above), who has also appeared in other BBC dramas like "Bleak House," "Sherlock," and "Merlin" and weighed in with his own remarks about his new role:

"I don't want to give too much away about the character at this early stage, but I can reveal that he is marvelously disgusting."

Davis joins new series regulars Michael Socha (werewolf Tom), Damien Molony (vampire Hal), and Kate Bracken (ghost Alex). Shooting of Series 5 is scheduled to begin in "late summer" with producer Phil Trethowan moving into the role of Executive Producer, and it should be "bigger, better, bolder, braver, and definitely more terrifying that anything that has come before... Season 5 is promising to deliver all the laughs and fun of Season 4 but with a very definitely new and nasty, chilling edge."

Of all the troublesome things we've heard about the shoot of World War Z, this is by far the most loony, and we're talking about a production that had its weapons seized by the government! Read on for the latest.

THR reports that when it comes to the World War Z reshoots, writer Damon Lindelof was brought in to do a third act, but after figuring out how much additional work was needed, he handed the project off to collaborator Drew Goddard. Sources say Paramount execs only had 52 minutes of continuous footage cut together to show them, along with a few minutes of other action. The film is said to be gearing up for a seven-week reshoot in London.

We previously learned that Alan Ritchson would be playing District 1 tribute Gloss in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and now we know who'll be portraying his sister, Cashmere.

Stephanie Leigh Schlund has been cast as Cashmere, a former Career tribute from District 1 who, along with her brother (who is also competing in the Games), is enamored of the Capitol.

Per The Hunger Games Facebook page, Schlund grew up in the Atlanta area, and in 2008 while on a trip to Los Angeles, she found herself becoming one of the newest models on the popular game show "The Price Is Right." Soon after she accepted roles in Lifetime’s hit series “Drop Dead Diva”, Nicholas Sparks/Disney's The Last Song, and Fox’s highly anticipated new series “The Following”, set to air this fall.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow (Donald Sutherland) prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be directed by Francis Lawrence and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the second in a trilogy that has sold more than 50 million books in print and digital in the U.S. alone.

Lionsgate will release The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on November 22, 2013.

After a successful run at the Fantasia International Film Festival, Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson’s Resolution has scored itself some distribution Stateside. Read on for the full details, including when you can expect to dig on the flick yourself.

Lukewarm Media's Primal Carnage will release later this year for PC. Humans were never meant to take on these ferocious dinosaurs--so thank goodness they went extinct a long time ago. But if you just have a death wish to take on these beasts of the wild, then Primal Carnage is waiting!

The highly-anticipated human vs. dinosaur multiplayer game Primal Carnage is set to launch on PC later this year. With five human and five dinosaur classes to rip each other apart with, the Pyromaniac and the Carnotaurus represent a mere sampling of the havoc you can expect to unleash with Primal Carnage.

With his custom Flamesaw (a flamethrower with a chainsaw melee attack), the Pyromaniac deserves his name. Spewing flames is effective for keeping dinosaurs at bay but only at medium distances…his chainsaw is all for up-close encounters. When ranged destruction is needed, the Pyro keeps a few grenades on his belt for just such a purpose.

The Carnotaurus is the lurking menace of the dinosaur team. While lacking the size of the mighty T-Rex, the Carno makes up for its smaller stature with incredible speed and brute force, breaking up crowds with his powerful charge ability and sharp horns. While the carno can run all over the battle field, his flanks are vulnerable, giving the mercenaries a window of opportunity against this speedy bruiser…but watch out for his bite, as his hatchet-like maw can dish out serious death.

Get ready for a savage multiplayer experience unlike anything you’ve ever experienced in Primal Carnage, a class-based online action game that throws 65 million years of evolution to the wind, locking humans and dinosaurs together in brutal combat. Another actor is heading to Portland for NBC's "Grimm," and we have all the details right here. Michael Grant Terry (on "Bones" he was one of Dr. Brennan's many interns) is joining the supernatural cop drama for a multi-episode arc and will first appear in Ep. 2.08, entitled "The Other Side."

Per TV Guide, Terry will play Ryan Smulson, a wide-eyed and enthusiastic student starting his internship with the Portland Police Department. His goal is to someday become a detective, and therefore, he is looking to model himself after his idol and one of Portland's finest: Nick Burkhardt.

"Grimm" Season 2 currently airs Monday nights at 10/9c before moving back to its regular Friday timeslot of 9/8c on September 14th.

Inspired by Grimms' fairy tales, "Grimm" follows Portland homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt, played by David Giuntoli, as he battles supernatural forces. Bitsie Tulloch portrays his fiancée, Juliette Silverton, with Russell Hornsby as his partner, Hank Griffin, and Silas Weir Mitchell as his confidant, Monroe. Reggie Lee and Sasha Roiz co-star. It is produced by Universal Television with Hazy Mills Prods. and GK Prods. Sean Hayes, Todd Milliner, David Greenwalt, Jim Kouf, Naren Shankar, and Norberto Barba are executive producers.

Not sure if the world has been clamoring for a fourth Killjoy movie, but I must say Killjoy Goes to Hell looks quite intriguing. It's based around the idea of a demonic movie slasher being put on trial in the devil’s courtroom for repeatedly failing to kill his last victim.

Synopsis:
The demon clown Killjoy is on trial in Hell! Having failed in his last outing to claim his victim's soul, he must face the devil himself in Hell's courtroom and prove that he's evil and worthy of a demon. His only hope is the testimony of his last victim and a trial by combat. Killjoy's murderous minions Batty Boop, Punchy, and Freakshow plot a daring rescue attempt, but they have nosy detectives, renegade clowns, and a whole mess of demons in their way. If they fail, Killjoy is damned to oblivion, never to return!

Trent Haaga returns as the demonic clown in Full Moon’s upcoming Killjoy Goes to Hell, the direct follow-up to last year’s Killjoy’s Revenge, also written and directed by John Lechago. Victoria DeMare, Al Burke, and Jessica Whitney co-star.

And if you’re attending Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo in Los Angeles on September 9th, you can attend the world premiere of Puppet Master: Axis Rising. Charles Band will be in attendance to personally introduce the 10th installment of the Puppet Master series.

The latest ghostly tale based upon an urban legend, Munger Road, will be available on DVD and VOD on September 11th from Freestyle Digital Media. That being said, check out the flick's new teaser trailer!

The film was written and directed by Nicholas Smith, produced by Kyle Heller, and stars Bruce Davison, Randall Batinkoff, Trevor Morgan, Brooke Peoples, Lauren Storm, and Hallock Beals. Last year Munger Road was released theatrically by Freestyle Releasing in the Chicago area to a remarkable $30,000 plus per screen average.

Synopsis
MUNGER ROAD takes place in a sleepy Midwestern town on a night when a group of teens explore the famed ‘Munger Road’ – a spot where a horrific tragedy occurred years earlier. Something terrible happens to the group, forcing the local police to acknowledge there is a returning killer lurking in the area as thousands of people converge on the town for the annual Scarecrow Festival.

They may not show or even tell us much, but a handful of unofficial images from the set of Carrie do relay one thing quite clearly: There will be blood. In fact, there will be gallons of it! Oh, the possibilities! Check 'em out!

Miles Dale (The Vow) serves as executive producer, and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Big Love) wrote the script from King’s original story. Synopsis
